Here’s my situation. While trying to find work at this new place, Someone Totally Ran a red light into my boyfriend and I and Totalled our car. We got blamed for the accident. Just to add the icing on the cake i broke my ankle… and it was bad enough that I had to have surgery for it. Ha! But this isn’t a sob story… as you can see we have no money… we can barely afford food and barely make it to the hospital clinic for check ups. I hate asking going to other people for money but I have applied for unemployment and food stamps but of course they have to make that really difficult and/or give us the ring around! Dah! It’s frustrating but I’m just trying to find a solution to money so we don’t end up on the streets. enough of story time….

So as you can see I can’t work at a normal job, even one as simple as fast food. One: because I can’t walk without my Crutches. Two: Cause we don’t have a car any more. Bus would be good but we seriously are out of money… Relatives and family have been sending money but they’ve sent too much already! I hate even excepting the money… but hey… it’s obvious we need it.

I was wondering what I can do… just anything for money, food, basic supplies like toilet paper!!!!!! ahh! I’ll have to steal it from public restrooms hahaha! no kidding. anyway!! (ADD, sorry)

Does anyone know what we can do?

I guess we have a little emergency money left but I feel sick to my stomach even spending it… cause when we’re out… we’re totally Broke.

You got any tricks to making money? Like I’ve been taking surveys that give you 50 cents online… but it feel like they aren’t counting all the time and effort I put into it, as in, ripping me off and I could get more money acting like a moron on the street, sadly.

I have been trying the online surveys but most of them want you
to spend money. I don’t have money to spend. Is there anything out there that is legitmate?

I am having a hard time finding any real paid survey websites that are not scams. Seems like they are all leading to dead ends. I just want this so I can make some paypal to pay for a few online subscriptions without paying out of pocket. Anyone got any links to real sites?

This may sound like a silly question, but why go to a school where the lectures are online, free of charge? In my opinion, besides prestige and making connections, their is none. Just wondering…
Ha, no I didn’t apply and I don’t have anything against MIT, but from what I’ve read and heard from students at MIT and other prestigious schools is that the student-teacher relationships are usually nonexistant. Yes, you get a degree, but what does that mean if you have gotten the knowledge anyways? As a high school senior, my aim is to go to a school where class discussions are more frequent and compliment it with online lectures from these prestigious schools. I don’t think it’s so important to actually go to MIT just because it’s perceived to be the best.
