boy am i pissed off, im really beginning to hate this city, im an unemployed man trying to make ends meet and and got screwed. wnet to do a side job to earn a couple of bucks to take home to family you know, got o my car and theres the big surprise waiting for me, the dam boot. i double checked online and i have only one pending ticket. how could the city do this?? money i made will go to city now, to top it off its saturday, revenue offices are closed so even if i pay, boot wont come off till monday!! jerks are out there putting the boot on, but no way to get it taken off?? by the time monday gets here my car will be towed and impounded!! aint that some shiiiiit if you dont pay within 24 hrs they impound your car. how ta hell can i pay and get boot off before th 24hrs if they are closed?? i could pay online but still wont get the boot off. chicago sucks donkey balls. money hungry anuses. what really kills me is that i have only ONE TICKET!!!! how ta hell can this be??????????

As of 2/1/09 i am debt free. and i wanted to give my real world avg person ways to get out of debt. any other suggestions would be great on how you did it.
1) THE MOST IMPORTANT: Its not about having what you want. its about wanting what you have.
2) Close all your credit card accounts and cut up Your cards. you will never get out of debt by going in debt.
3) do your own maintenance on your car. my car cost about $85 at Wal-Mart for oil change. i do it myself for about $35.
4) STOP spoiling the kids. they really don’t need or want half the things we get them. i am as guilty as the rest. Stop buying useless, unwanted, unneeded gifts for people who wont appreciate what you are giving them. sponser a needy family at christmas or volunteer at a shelter to really get a true gift of giving. DONT go in debt to make someone LIKE you. They dont care.
5) There are plenty of things to do for Free or cheep. Find them and take advantage of them. we have a dinner theater close by. we have movies on the river. sure its an older movie but you can pack a picnic and watch the movie. and its free. another theater shows old old movies and its like 2 bucks.
6) keep a very clean and neat checkbook. balance it correctly and often. i balance my checkbook online every morning. you would be surprised what you can find or what you miss. this can and will stop overdraft charges.
7) Know where your money is going. pay essential bills FIRST. Eat cheep. those dollar mexican dinners are not that bad once you get used to them. looking back over that clean neat checkbook is a big eyeopener. do you have anything to show for all that debt. If you cant pay cash for it and still pay your bills then DONT BUY IT. Our parents Love us. if they can loan you the money to payoff credit cards take advantage of it. i am sure their interest rate is a lot lower. show them the accounts are closed and cards are cut up. i borrowed $52,000 from my parents and paid them off in 5 years. my payment to them was directe deposited right out of my check to them. after a few months i learned to live on what i was taking home. now that payment goes into savings. i still live on the same amount.
9) put everything you can on your debt. raise, bonus, tax refund. that brings up something. maybe its stupid but i have more than needed taken out for taxes. yes it is an interest free loan to the IRS but i get a huge refund. it was more like a year long savings for me. i took that huge refund and applied it to debt.
10) BE HAPPY. See the light at the end of the tunnel. becoming debt free feels so much better than putting yourself in debt. and STOP, dont put yourself back where you came from. Dont be jellious of your friends who seem to have everything. they are probably way in debt and not that happy. You will be happy cause you have cash at the end of the month and they dont.

these are just a few of my suggestion. would really like to hear others.
ash no, getting out of debt did not = ask daddy. it was a contract loan. with a payment of $1200.00 a month at a lower than bank interest rate. it was not free but a loan. and i paid back every penny.

I work at an apartment building for seniors and disabled and a young man that I moved in last week wrote me this letter and I don’t know what to do. It’s in his spelling and stuff.

“For two years I lived at the old address. For a year and a half I knew of the situation but didn’t know the location. I knew I was being watched so at first I started doing random things such as staring at the wall for an hour, washing the mirrors several times a day and such the like anything to try an hear if they talked, to get an idea of who and where.

“Being raised in a single parent Abusive home I hold alot of anger and pain inside and I moved to that place to have freedom and privacy.

“To think I couldn’t have that angered me and I became spitful and started doing ignorrant and personal things thinking if I was going to be watched I’d give them a show in hope that they would stop or at least try to fix the situation.

“But insted no one stopped and it worsend and the one veiwer became more than 10 which the main 3 lived down the hall

“The more ignorrant I acted, the more they talked. The more they talked, the closer I got to finding the spot

“I narrowed it down to the living room so I spent most my time there, even sleept on the couch even though I had a bed.

“eventually, I figured out tha the spot was by the door leading to the hall. I have proof and voice recordings But what good would it do? It would just anger Them and make things worse.

“Now. . .I’m trying to set a Godly example I repented of my ignorance but rightly so I’m dealing with the consequence of my actions But sadly friends of the people live here. . .on my floor. I heard them talking and it wasnt long before word spread.

“I don’t feel secure. I try to go about the day: cook, make coffee, wash up, play my online games to pass time and chat. but I still cant focus. I try to read in the bible and listen to the christian radio but being alone I have no comfort. I contacted a few churches and wating a response from Mike Bartolone, to see if ther is transportation to his church.

“If I could move I would, but I think ther is a bigger plan but I don’t know what to do.

“I dont know why but I feel I trust you. I rarle talk to anyone and am taking anxiety meds for my anti socialness as it is.

“I’m trying to be christian I was in ’97 but I have no guidence an no one to talk to.

“I’m not sure what good this will do but at least you’ll know a bit more about the situation and a bit more of why I carry around such emptyness.

“I don’t trust the phone line as silly as it sounds. At the old place the lines were crossed and it’s an record 2 people came to fix it.
