Hi, i am 15 and am a sophomore in high school.I have 2 years left, and to be honest i am very heavy troubles at home. My friend, also 15 and a sophomore, is having similar difficulties. We have been friends for a while, and we had one of those “childhood fantasies” that we would own a joint business some day. Now, that we are a bit more “mature” and have a lot of free time on our hands, and a unsteady future coming closer and closer, we’ve decided to start a project that can hopefully feed us as soon as possible. We have decided to attempt to start our own clothes store. While it might sound crazy, or like were just making stuff up, this is the exact reason why i’m asking for help, as neither of us have much experience. My friend is something of an graphic designer, often spending hours on very cool sketches, or just coming up with creative geometric projects. I have a talent in marketing, oratory skills, and have a level head. I enjoy working on long term projects that pay off, and can just lay down on my bed and think. I also have a keen sense of style, and enjoy putting certain “sets” of clothing together, but am often faced with the difficulty that i can’t find a critical piece, like a hat or shirt, or the right shoes. So we decided it would be best to put our talents to use and attempt to plan ahead and perhaps open a store.

The reason we decided on a clothes store was because not only will we have a marketing class next year, but it would also combine the strong sides of our interests and perhaps might feed us after we graduate, as we both made up our mind of moving out as quickly as possible.

While we do have a couple tshirt sketches, i know that that is just the smallest bit. I have alot of questions, and i want to at least get a general idea of what would be needed and at least seem knowledgeable before i approach my counsler/marketing teacher with this. 1)Would we have to be 18 to start up a business? Would it matter if it was a physical store or a online store?
2)We can not afford this project, and we will defiantly not have the financial backing of our parents. Would it be possible to receive a loan of some sort?
3)all of the sketches we have done are made by hand. is there a electronic tool we could use to compile into a template?
4)if we do launch this project, how many years should we expect to be paying off loans?
5)We live in Pleasanton, California. Is there anyway we can contact a professional, or someone with experience in the field, to perhaps shadow them for a day or two, or perhaps ask them questions?
6) While we expect to design our own clothes, we also want to sell the clothes of other brands. Would we need to ask their permission to sell their clothes? How would we go around asking them for permission?
7)How would we go around officiating our Business, buying or renting a building?

I am really on the verge of desperation, my life is falling apart piece by piece.
Here is my situation:

Me 2010:
I had a job, a girlfriend, a masters degree, a car, a dog, a house (rented not bought), and i had a nice side income with an online business i set up. But i am not to brag about all this just to magnify my downfall.

Now it is 2011.
I started the year knowing i had only 6 months left and i would had to leave the company. I worked in the consultancy, did my job well but was one of the last to join so first to get out. Ok i understood that, no big deal. Now on top of that i ended my relationship in february, i felt we were practically have become strangers hanging with different people and have different taste and i felt like there was no future for us. So i felt it was unfair for us to continue because the next step would have been marriage and children, it wouldn’t be a good future.

So we split up, the apartment was taken over by someone else and i lived with a friend for the next months. She went to her parents and since her mother loves dogs and my friend is allergic she took the dog. Fast forward in july my contract ended, i sold my car and looked for a new job. Now on top of all the misery my online business started to fall apart. I started to lose actually so i sold my goods left and quit the business, to magnify the painfullness of this i made more with this than my actual job. Now my friend (roommate) has a girlfriend, so i felt it was the right thing to do for me to move out. He never asked me to do but i felt he really liked her and i shouldn’t be there.
I thanked him for his hospitality and moved out to my parents. For the time being hopefully.

Ok so me 2011: No job, no car, no girlfriend, miss my dog (yes more than her), no side income, no house! I don’t know if it has to do with me living with my parents now but i feel like a huge huge loser. On top of that because of my arm injury i haven’t worked out in months so i lost alot of weight. I look like a sick puppy. This was suppose to be a good year, but really everything is falling apart. I lost money (i lost this years earnings and some of last years), my confidence and i am feeling i am starting to lose my mind. The market is really bad now too so i don’t even have the confidence to look for a new job now. I just don’t know where to start it seems like i lost everything in such a short time. I don’t have much savings anymore despite my large income previous years, didn’t save up much. Some positive things are that i am in good health, physically. And i do not have any addictions but other than that i feel a huge loser.

I’ve been to about 100 sites now that tell me i can make money online with all these big videos and friendly people and stuff. But i dont give in to that sh1t. So can you tell me, is there a free program/video/guide to make money online (ALL I NEED IS 2000, NOT 200,000). it could be even like 100 bucks a week or something, but that’s all i need im not looking to get FITHY rich. So please if someone knows of an effective way (without paying for anything or selling a product) please help me out and tell me about. you don’t even have to post a link.
