ok so on my zune i’ll try to go on market place and it “says connect now?” when i put yes it won’t connect, just says “connecting” i’ll leave it alone for 5 minutes and nothing. i can’t play games online or send or recieve songs, my zune doesnt show up on my friends. ANY IDEAS?
My internet keeps losing its speeds, its a bog standard ADSL with can handle up to 8 meg speeds. i got told that it I will be receiving a connection at 3mps ( 330kbps ish ) but when doing various different speed tests online I’m only getin around 1.7 – 2.3.
All other computers are switched of when taking this test and no updates are getin, i put a fresh copy of windows on so no junk could be sending or recieving imformation.
I spoke to a mate very brifly and he said something about
DOCSIS 3.0 extreme something or other.
If purchasing this, would it work on a ADSL line? we live in a old small market town and the exchange does not provide cable as of yet.

I currently have a wireless network in my home. I have Comcast Highspeed internet. My RangeMax wireless modem is in the living room. My desktop pc is in my bedroom and is connected via wireless. That desktop is sharing the internet with my xbox 360 via ethernet cable. (It’s the most cost effective set up, without having to deal with the landlord, electricians, purchasing $100 xbox wireless adapters, etc.)
First question: I can go to XBOX LIVE with this set up and play online multiplayer, but I cannot connect to the market place for some odd reason. Is it because of the way I have it hooked up to the internet?
Second question: I have been looking at Powerline ethernet adapters. Does it offer a better connection to the internet than a wireless network? If so, do you think it will help with my XBOX LIVE marketplace problem? Can you recommend a good brand/model for cheap?

I want to make money online using an internet connection. I am interested in knowing about paying websites, pay-for-surf, online jobs, freelance jobs, online contests and prizes, online lotteries etc. Anything that would pay me atleast 100 dollars per month. I have a 24×7 broadband internet connection. I would like to work from home.
