So early last month I was fired from my job at All Seasons Pools and Spas. I was a salesman and was making them more money each month then any other person in the company. I had been there fro almost a year now and it came to quite a surprise to me when they told me I was being fired. I was assigned an inventory project on the computer entering data on some new spas. The project was long and was taking me the better part of the day to finish half of it. While I was working on this I had my email open on another tab checking it every so often. (It has never been a big deal as there were other co-workers who would sit on the internet “craigslist” for hours at a time. Now when I was fired they told me they were monitoring internet usage now and that I had been online and not doing my job. Anyway I signed up for unemployment and have been awaiting the phone interview, I talked to the unemployment people today and they said there would be another phone interview because my last employer was now contesting my claim. Is there anything I can do, or why would they go about trying to deny me my benefits?

My mom and step father live several states away. We’re not going to see them until Feb. so I want to send them something nice for Christmas. I was thinking of getting a nice basket from Gevalia but I couldn’t find anything I like.
Any ideas? Maybe something from Harry and David…I’d like to just be able to pick something online and have it mailed to them…doesn’t sound personal I know, but I always send them something cheesy and homemade from me and my daughter, and this year I thought it would be nice to spend a little money and get them a treat. They always buy us treats through out the year
They’re coffee drinkers, my step father likes wine, my mom doesn’t drink. They are foodies but they mostly eat organic fresh-grown stuff from the local Farmer’s Market, and my step father is on a strict diet. My mom has a ton of allergies too. They live in a condo on the beach, and they’re both nurses. They have 3 grandkids, but none of them live near them. They like going out to eat, walking on the beach, and reading the paper. My mom also likes knitting and spinning her own yarn. When they lived in New England they owned a farm, so they like that stuff too but they can’t grow/raise anything in their development.
Any ideas? Something fun and creative would be nice. Thanks!

i am 13 years old and i want some sort of job to make money. I get too frustrated to babysit, im bad at mowing lawns, paper route is impossible where i live, theres really nothing i can do. I heard that you can make money online doing blogs and reviews, but i dont know what websites are hiring 13 year olds to write reviews. Im a really fast typer and i am good at rating things. I know i would do good writing reviews, and thats what i wanna do for a job right now. What websites are hiring kids my age to review stuff?
