How can I tell if it’s a scam? The actual listing that I saw was for Yorkie puppies at $100 each. The listing also said that the family lived in Pensacola, FL, which is where I live. When we started emailing though, it turns out that they are in Barcelona. They did ask questions of me, like if I have owned a dog before and if I have the means to care for the dogs. Below is the last email from them. First of all, is there any way to pay the $150 safely that I know can be refunded if it’s a scam?

“We only need the transfer of ownership papers to get them over.I knew that by the grace of God our babies were going to make it into a caring home.The laws here in Spain are quite different from the laws in the

hello, im buying a puppy online from a guy (well i might), hes located in north dakota. hes giving the puppy to me for free but charging for shipping (i live in california). he sent me pictures of the dog (through email) and it doesnt look like a scam they look like real pictures he took but im still not sure. he says hes registering the pupp at an agency where they’re gonna ship the pupp to me. they’re first gonna contact me to see how im gonna pay the $200 shipping. what questions should i ask the guy to make sure this isnt a scam? im most likely paying through pay pal also. some one please help i told him to give me till monday thats when i get payed so i wanna know what should i ask before i send the money over? i alsosaw i can take the money out of my account but it wont go into his until they send the shipping number &info how do i do that?

Ok so not fully sure I am in the right section, but since it is a horse trailer and I am sure some of you have been in similar situations, I will try my question here.

So I found the perfect horse trailer that I want to buy (and have the money for in cash from selling my old one). Anyway, I do not have my truck working yet, so I am planning on paying my friend to pick up the trailer (it is about 4 hours away). My friend’s truck ends up breaking down yesterday, so now we are no longer able to pick up my new trailer on Monday as planned. The people who own the horse trailer took the ad off online for it and told me that they trusted me to bring the money in full in cash when picking up the trailer monday.

Now I have to tell them that we will have to pick it up later this week or even next week. Problem is, I don’t think they will want to hold the trailer that long without any money. I have all the cash laying here ready for them when I get the trailer, but I understand that they have the right not to trust that.

What is the safest way to deal with this money transaction? I can send a money order in full and it would get to them in a few days, or I could make a deposit of half and pay the rest when I get there. But then couldn’t they just run off with the money and not give me my trailer??? I would like a contract, but it would take days to mail back and forth till we both sign it.

I need help, not sure how to deal with this money situation, what is the safest way to deal with this?

My gut reaction is to trust these people and send them money for trailer and pick it up in a week, but I honestly know that is wrong.
But i guess I have their address, so is that enough?
See, that’s the thing, I am never a flaky person and that’s why I kinda feel like I owe it to them to send them money in full (so they know i am not fake) since I am not sure exactly how long till I can pick it up.
Oh and I am so not an idiot who will be sending all this cash to them that’s why I am asking the question to find the safest way
