Eleventh Month Report!

Only one month ahead and I’ll have completed a full year of online money making activity. And right before I’ll reach that goal, my earnings have again increased. Well they have increased a lot…! :)

In August I more than doubled my usual earnings from my different online money makers. While I “only” made $278 in July, I now have made $651.69, an amazing number! But to be true, not all of that money is a net profit, the most of it is already invested in different money makers to make more out of it. But anyway, it’s quite a lot compared to what I’ve earned when I began this little experiment. In October 2007 I made $18…

You may ask why my bucks have grown so mystically within the last month. In one word, NeoBux! Yepp, you’ve heared right, NeoBux turned out to be a monster money maker! Although I have lost a bit of my “trust” in Paid To Click websites (you know, Bux.to and such), I was completely surprised that it’s still possible to make such money from them. The best thing about NeoBux is that they DO pay, within seconds! I can’t repeat that too often, they really pay you instantly, no scam or such! In August I made $524 from NeoBux alone, thanks to the help of my 1126 referrals. I’m currently making around $17 each day and I spend most of the money in renting even more refs. I’m currently playing the MegaJackpot too, a jackpot comparable to a lottery, the more people spend money on buying tickets (one does cost only $0.10) the bigger the pot gets. Right now you can win some $1,500, but the jackpot goes until sunday!

The second best money maker this month was my niche site. It brought me 2 affiliate sales each worth around $25. Far away from perfect but if you consider that I left that site like I created it several months ago without any editing afterwards, not bad… :)

This brings me to another project I’m currently working on. As already meioned, I’m about to start 3 new niche affiliate sites where I want to promote Clickbank products. But this time I will emphasize my efforts in bringing way more traffic to them with help of different technics like article marketing for example. Right now the first site is already done, there are only some minor issues with some design flaws that show up in older versions of Internet Explorer (what else, damn browser…). I’ll keep you updated whenever I have time for it, the next days will be very hard for me.

The rest of the money, at least a great portion of it, was made through selling links on my blog. Evil, evil, evil I would think if I were Google… :)

In August my blog received over 3,500 unique visitors, Pagerank is still the same and the Alexa rating is balancing around the 200,000 mark. No big increase in traffic, unfortunately…

Well should be enough info at the moment. You know, I’m busy! Thanks to all my readers, blogging and online friends, all the people posting nice (and sometimes not so nice –> spammy) comments, my real life friends, my wife and family for supporting me, my money makers and all the people that will visit my blog in the future (man, I just felt like doing such a big Thank You, hehe)!

Bye Bye

I’m back!

Mr. Querblogger is proud to announce that he’s back in business. :)

After having two weeks of some nice and enjoyable vacations with my wife, I’m now back to my usual blogging and money making business. It was really worth it to do something different than sitting in front of my computer all day long. Well anyway, now I’m back and I’ll soon start writing some new posts here.

Many exciting things happened the last two weeks. Be it the new referral renting system on NeoBux, a new affiliate sale on my niches site or the fact that Bux.to hasn’t done anything big against their damn payment delays yet (I’ll write a special post on this), there’s a lot of stuff to write about.

Right now I have to check my mails (several hundred, damn…) and bring me up to date on what’s going on in the online money making niche and all the programs I’m involved with. But stay tuned, I’ll soon start over! :)

Ok, thanks that you all are here again. I hope you’ll enjoy my further writings and experiments in making money online.

See you soon,

Make Money with eBay – Maybe a New Project?

The last weeks I thought about making money with the eBay affiliate program. After they started their very own partner network (EPN) some weeks ago and also enabled the international usage of their program, some nice ideas came into my mind. Before that, as their program was managed by Commission Junction, I never had the chance to get accepted into their program and therefore have nearly forgotten about that possible money maker.

With the eBay partner network you earn a small percentage of each winning bid on auctions hosted on your website or blog. And you’ll also earn up to $50 for each ACRU (Active Confirmed Registered User), depending on the quality of the new referred user. With enough traffic, like in most online businesses, you may earn a lot of money from eBay.

Ok, but where to start and how? I thought about that too and I’ve already found my personal best solution. Although eBay offers different tools to develope affiliate sites for free, I’d rather choose a software called PHPBayPro to create my eBay affiliate websites. The software comes in different versions and I’ll personally choose the PHPBayPro WordPress plugin which costs only $49 and is recommended from different people that successfully use it. Basically the plugin version let’s you create a complete eBay affiliate site right within WordPress, easy and fast.

But the software alone isn’t all, what’s way more important is to find a niche where you actually can create sales. I already have some ideas and also managed to create a keyword list for it, meaning I’ve found some nice long tail keywords that’ll bring in traffic with less competition from other sites in the same niche. I picked a hot niche will searching on eBay’s Pulse, a page showing what’s currently hot on eBay. After that I’ve done my keyword research with help of only freely available tools like the Adwords keyword tool (which now shows search count in numbers) and Gtrends for example.

All I need to do now is registering the right domain name, writing some content and integrating PHPBayPro into a new WordPress install. That shouldn’t be too hard to accomplish. Generating traffic to this site will be far more difficult in my opinion and I doubt I’ll see any early results from that site, although I hope to make some good bucks later on. Let’s see how it will perform, right now I only have my keyword list but I think I’ll start the new site this autumn.

I’m sure that I won’t earn enough to quit my day job from only one eBay site, but there’s nothing holding me back from creating more and more of them once they become profitable for me. Sure, right now everything is just plain theory, but I’ll do my best to accomplish this new goal.

Best Regards,

My (Very) Short Hostgator Review

In this post I’ll give you a short review about my personal favorite webhost that is called Hostgator. Since I moved my blog from Blogger to a self-hosted WordPress install several months ago, I used the Hostgator service without facing a single problem. It’s a reliable and relatively cheap webhost that offers many useful features.

I’m personally using the so called “Baby” account where I pay only $7.95 per month. Although it sounds like a somewhat funny name, it offers many advanced features that are everything but being “Baby”. The best one is the option to have unlimited domains. That’s a very important fact because you can host multiple websites/blogs instead of only one while paying only a single monthly fee. Right now I’m only using it for 3 websites, but there’s no limit in the total number you can add. I’m also planning to add even more websites, especially niche sites, to my account.

My hosting account has 600GB of webspace and I’m allowed to have 6,000GB of monthly bandwidth. You’ll never reach those limits when having only some simple websites and/or blogs, and by simple I mean sites that may even have several hundred pages. You only have to keep an eye on the processing time your site’s need to show up on your reader’s browsers. Because you’re on a shared host, meaning several people having their accounts on the same machine, you can’t use much of the server’s CPU power. E.g. running the next Facebook would probably a very bad idea and you’ll be kicked if you use too much of the server’s resources.

Hostgator uses cPanel, a very popular account management software that features all the tools you need to maintain your sites. It’s easy to set up MySQL databases (also unlimited), create email accounts or watch your site’s stats via AwStats. You can even install popular scripts like WordPress or PhpBB with a single click on your mouse via the Fantastico service. You have full control over your hosting account, a big plus in my opinion.

All in all I can only recommend Hostgator. Especially the “Baby” account is a nice way to set up multiple websites for cheap. I mean, paying only 8 bucks a month is quite affordable, especially while looking at all the features they offer. So far I didn’t have a single problem with Hostgator and I hope to not have any in the future.

Ah, before I forget! You can join Hostgator via my affiliate link if you will, it’s definitely worth it if you try to establish multiple (maybe money making) sites for cheap!

See you,
