My First Clickbank Check!

Today I received my first check from Clickbank, a small piece of paper worth $350. The check was sent last wednesday and I’m amazed how fast it was delivered.

The money was made during my last months’ work on different niche sites that I own. I must admit, these sites are not the best money makers that I have, but they still generate some small bucks here and there, regardless if I promote them or not.

Now I only need to receive 2 extra checks before I’m eligible to receive funds via direct bank deposit, which is even faster and doesn’t involve taking the check to my local bank. Clickbank requires one to get at least 3 checks in any 90 days period for verifying measures. Once the third check finally arrives and the money is successfully banked to your local account, you can enter your bank details and Clickbank will pay you on a weekly(!) basis.

All in all, this Clickbank check was a nice christmas surprise and it’s definitely good for buying some gifts from it (my family demands this…). And yes, I could have posted a nice payment proof showing my huge CB check (e.g. like Jeremy Shoemaker did with his check from Google), but I think nowadays it’s way too easy to fake such stuff and it therefore doesn’t really make sense to show you at all. But you can trust me that Clickbank is a paying company! ;)

Now I’m lucky. What else should I say?! :D

See you,

NeoBux – I hit 20 Dollars a Day!

Finally, after 4 months of working with probably the most popular PTC on the net, I hit the 20 dollar mark in my daily earnings. I currently have a total of 1228 referrals, with 1060 of them rented via NeoBux’s Rent-A-Ref system.

Sounds like I’m bragging about my earnings, huh? Well I won’t lie if I tell you that I’m at least a bit proud of my earnings. ;) But the good thing is, you too can achieve such earnings with NeoBux, it only takes some time!

I personally started with nothing but my blog where I wrote some posts about that so called innovative PTC. After some days I got my first direct referrals, not many but enough to make me some $0.50 a day (sometimes less). I immediately re-invested all the money I made, just to rent my first referrals. My earnings slowly but steadily increased until I found it’s time to upgrade my account to a Golden membership.

The Golden membership let my earnings explode. Not only did I get more ads to click on everyday, but also the earnings made through my referrals doubled. Referral packs got cheaper and I also made 10% on every purchases my direct refs made. I was now able to make around $10 per day.

Over the last weeks I concentrated my efforts in getting more referrals. Every week I tried, and most times was able to rent another 100 refs. I also played the referral jackpot and even won 5 times, another 500 referrals in my downline! Althoug many refs are quite inactive these days (maybe because of vacations time), I still made around $18 per day.

Finally, last Friday I rented 100 more referrals and my daily earnings reached an amazing $20 per day! The whole time I re-invested every single cent back into buying new referrals and recycling lazy ones. I’m now slowly getting into a position where I’ll be able to exponentially grow my earnings. Because I make quite a few bucks each day, I have enough bucks to play the referral jackpot more often, and chances of winning it are quite good if you buy all 40 possible tickets.

Ok, you see how I personally reached these earnings. I’ll want to demonstrate you that you too can start from nothing, and if you keep focused you’ll make that money too. Don’t give up in the beginning, although you’re only making a few cents each day. Trust me, you’ll slowly getting into the money if you set yourself a goal and work toward it!

Join NeoBux today and start your own money making career (or at least make some extra money each month)!

Monetize Your Blog – Kontera

Today I will write about Kontera’s ContenLink ad publishing network and how it may help you in monetizing your blog. I thought it was time to continue my “series” about blog monetization methods that I began in December 2007. Back then it presented three different money makers called WidgetBucks, Bidvertiser and Fair Ads Network.

Kontera provides a full-featured advertising network that offers in-text advertising, another attractive method for making money from your blog (and also your regular website’s) content. It’s really simple, you place a short code snippet in your blog’s template (they even offer an automatic tool for Blogger.com blogs) where you want those ads to appear. Whenever a page of your blog gets loaded, the code parses your content for particular keywords that different advertisers bid on and it highlights them just like a regular hyperlink. When your site visitors click on one of those links, you’ll make money. You may see such links while looking at my posts here on this blog, they are double underlined.

I’ve implemented Kontera’s ContentLink technology some days ago after I got accepted in their publisher network. I use their very own Wordpress plugin to make my life a little easier with integrating Kontera on my blog. So far I made $1.77 in four days with an average CTR (Click-Through Rate) of around 2.50%. The average click price is at $0.30, but I must admit that I only have stats for those four days!

It seems that this ad publishing solution does work real good for content sites, so far that’s the highest CTR I’ve ever seen from all those advertising networks that I tested here on my blog. To give you an example, my CTR on Speedyads is at 0.20%!

Kontera pays at a Net 30 basis, meaning they pay you 30 days after a month’s end. In order to get paid you have to reach $100 as the minimum payout limit. Payments are made via Paypal, Check and even international bank transfer.

Kontera’s ContentLink looks very promising and I’ll leave it on my blog for some more weeks to get some better and more realistic statistics. Right now I’m very happy with their network, earnings are quite good so far and I’m really surprised to see such a high click-through rate, which is a good sign for making good money. As always, revenues also highly depend on your blog’s or website’s traffic, the more the better. :)

Bye,

My Hompepages Friends – Update Four – Growing Earnings

Well, this should be my 4th short update on my progress with “My Homepages Friends”, a new site I just recently joined to make me some money from just searching the net as I regulary would. Have a look at my original post about getting paid for searching the internet to know what I’m talking about!

After nearly two weeks being a member on My Homepages Friends I’m very lucky about my current earnings from this site. So far I have done 127 searches and there are already £2.15 in my account. That’s nearly $4.20, depending on the current exchange rate. You can check the rate by simply typing it into Google, in my example simple type “2.15 pound in dollar” into the Google search field and Big G will tell you the exchange rate (Google knows everything, even the answer to life, the universe and everything).

My 13 referred friends have made a total of 274 searches so far, which brought me another $0.37 (10% of their earnings). Thanks to all!

As I already said, I really like MHF and I have no doubt that they won’t pay. They have officially partnered with Yahoo! as their underlying search engine and I highly doubt that the guys from Yahoo! would make a partnership with a scam site!

You can join My Homepages Friends with help of my referral link (if you want to support me)!

I’ll soon write about some methods for getting referrals for MHF, so you all can start to build a nice downline in order to make some more bucks. Everybody needs some extra cash! Well, more on this later.

Cheers,
Querblogger

Third Affiliate Sale!

It seems all the efforts in building my first affiliate niche site have really paid off so far. Today I made my third affiliate sale and another $37 arrived in my Clickbank account. :)

Although this may sound a bit like bigheadedness, I won’t boast about how a good affiliate marketer I am. On the contrary, I’m such a noob in the affiliate business and it’s maybe only luck that I make my first money from this site. I only want to show you that it IS possible to make money from it!

Now I’m at a point where I seriously think about starting some other niche sites in order to make some good money. Sure, not enough for quitting my dayjob right now, but enough to have some extra cash in the pocket. Well, I’ll work on it.

See you later,
Querblogger

PS: I’ll soon write the next update about my progress with “My Homepages Friends”, the site where you get paid to search the internet!

My Second Affiliate Sale, Yeah!

Around 2 week ago I wrote about how I made my first sale from affiliate marketing. I told you that there’s some good work involved in setting up an affiliate site, e.g. filling it with content or promoting it in order to get more traffic. I also told you, that such sites most times pay off for themselves in the end. Well…my little niche site has brought me yet another $30 in my Clickbank account! :)

As I first started to explore the world of affiliate marketing, especially niche marketing, I thought it would be way too difficult to actually make money from it. Now I see that it IS possible to make money from it, which doesn’t mean it isn’t difficult at all. All you need is passion about your “job”, work toward your own goals and you’ll reach them! Mhmm, I already sound like a super affiliate… :P

Should be all for now,

Cheers,

Bux.to – My Current Stats

Warning! Bux.to has turned into a horrible PTC with payment delays of more than 6 months, a lame staff and forum mods that defeat Bux.to with their life although they even have not a received a single payment yet. I’m not the only one who didn’t get paid by them, thousands of users are complaining about this mess. The Bux.to staff are the most unprofessional people I’ve ever seen online for a long time (or maybe they are the best scammers I’ve seen, who knows…). I DON’T recommend joining them, there are way better PTCs on the market that even pay instantly, like NeoBux for example. There I already earned over $2,000 and got paid more than 10 times!

After a long time without too many updates about my progress with Bux.to, I will give you some more in-depth details about my current situation with this nice money maker. I will give you some statistics about my referral count, click rates, earnings and current news about Bux.to in general.

Bux.to – The Best PTC Ever

I started my Bux.to experiment/career way back in October 2007, where I was a complete noob in terms of making money online. But, until today, I don’t regret joining this PTC, the most popular of all PTC’s at the moment (and probably for the future). I had many highs and lows with Bux.to the last month. First I thought it was a scam, until I received my first payment in February 2008 (not much btw, but proof enough for me to keep on using that site). Then everything seemed to work right, until all those statistic delays started and many members thought this would be the end of Bux.to. Well, they are still alive!

Just recently I was invited for the beta test of the brand new script that powers Bux.to. I was amazed after finding an invite for this beta test, because only 10,000 members were allowed to test the new script. Ok, 10,000 members sounds much, but note that Bux.to has over 5,000,000 members today! Maybe the staff has noticed that I rank number in the top ten in the Google search results for the term “Bux.to” and have some influence?! :P

At the moment the most annoying thing at Bux.to is the really huge payment delay. They are three month late with their payments. But there are reasons for that delay! First, they had some serious trouble with Alertpay, which had several errors in the payment processing on their own side. The problem is already solved, payments will be processed as regular. Second, and most disturbing fact is the audit time. At the moment they have to check each payment request for fraudulent activity (thanks to all those scammers and users of autoclickers). With several thousand cashout requests each month one can only imagine how long that would take…

But, with help of the new script, several things will change. First of all, they will include some kind of autoclicker detection. Sorry, I haven’t (and won’t give you) any details about it! I think it’s a good step for faster payment requests, because the account audit times will get shorter. Second thing is semi-automatic payment processing instead of manual doing those payments. After the release of the new script, payment will definitely arrive way faster than right now!

Ok, let’s head over to my stats!

My Bux.to Stats

Let’s first have a look at the stats directly from my Bux.to account:

My Bux.to Account Statistics

You see, after joining the site nearly six month ago, I have done 3071 clicks by myself. I must admit, that’s not a high amount. I’ve seen users with way more clicks than I personally have. But I’m not below the average for sure. :)

So far I have a total of 72 referrals. 65 of them are purchased from Bux.to, the rest was done by promoting Bux.to on my blog. I personally haven’t referred many people…unfortunately. I’ve spent a total of around $80 for buying all those refs, luckily I’ve already made my investments back. Some more bucks I’ve invested were $65 for upgrading my account to premium status. That was the best thing I could do, not only because I get paid 25% more compared to standard members. It also increased the daily ad count from around 10 ads to sometimes more than 40 ones!

Now for the best part, my referrals have clicked a total of 12061 ads so far. In other words, each referral brought me around 167 advertising clicks so far. I have made my investments back!
I have a nice (or ugly) statistics graph where you can see the total amount of referral clicks since the beginning of January, where I bought my first referral pack:

Referral Click Statistic

You’ll notice the recent increase in my referrals click activity, that’s because I’ve bought another referral pack three weeks ago AND the statistics delay has gone (at least for me)!

So far I got paid $12.71 from Bux.to, back then to my Paypal account. So far I my account blance went up to over $168. At April 18th I’ve requested my second payout of $75 to my brand new Bux.to Mastercard. In my opinion the new card is another great step towards a more professional PTC. At the moment I’m still waiting for the payment to arrive.

At the moment I’m making around 3 to 4 Dollars each day, excluding my personal clicks on daily ads. That’s amazing for only 72 referrals, where around 10 of them are even inactive. I think about reinvesting most of my money (if it arrives some day) in new referral packages. If everything works right for the next month, I’ll see a huge increase in my overall monthly earnings! :)

Conclusion

At the moment you could have many doubts about Bux.to. Payments are late, statistics aren’t updating right, many people complain about this PTC already. Everyday there are new threads on the Bux.to forums from people that are waiting for their first money to come in.

On the other side, Bux.to has proven to be a professional PTC like no other. They have solved their problems with Paypal while searching for alternative payment processors. They have arranged a deal with Payoneer, a serious company providing the already mentioned Mastercard. They are currently working on a new script to give their members a way better experienece, not only moneywise.

I will furthermore support Bux.to as a real big money making opportunity (maybe I’ll get a higher ranking in the SERPS than Bux.to itself :) ). Sure, there are payment delays and one could arque about their real business model, but I think they have some good plans for running their business for a longer time in the future. So far they have proved to pay many people, sometimes several thousand dollars!

Bux.to is THE great site, nothing more to say…! :)

Bux.to – New Referrals – Approaching the Payout Limit

Three days ago I bought another 15 referrals from Bux.to and today they arrived and brought me the first clicks. Within only one day I got around $1.00 from these referrals and with my whole account balance I’m heading towards the $75 payout limit. I think I can make my first cash request to my brand new Bux.to card sometimes around Thursday or Friday when I reach those 75 bucks.

Bux.to is also about to release their new script within the next week or two. It’s very possible that, after the new script is released and working stable, payments become faster. Some people on the Bux.to forums (including admins) expect a new payment time of only 5 business days, instead of the 30 days for premium members now. Let’s hope the best, I’ll inform you!

That should be all, now I have to write some new articles for my first bum marketing project I’ve just started. I will report about it soon, so stay tuned!

So Long,

Sixth Month Report!

It’s over now, today I will close my Making Money Experiment and you’ll never see me again. Ok, it’s a real lame april fool I know ;) No really, phase one of my experiment is over now after six month. Now I’ll enter phase two with my blog and set me some higher goals than only making $100 within six month. But before I’ll present you my monthly statistics as usual.

In March I made my second highest “income” on my whole blogging journey. I made $30, which only gets topped from my January earnings where I made 40 bucks. I’m overly happy about this statsitics, not only because I’ve reached nearly 150% of my initially goal. All in all I made a total of $145 which comes down to an average of $24 a month. It’s peanuts I know, but I have learned some useful lessons while making those bucks.

The best money makers for this month were Bux.to and Paid.vg, both are really good PTC sites that pay $0.01+ for each click on an advertisement. With help of some bought referrals and some “natural” ones, I was able to make $15 with Bux.to (22 refs) and $12 with Paid.vg (8 refs). So far I only got paid from Bux.to and I’m still waiting for the Paid.vg payments.

You see, I have concentrated most of my time in those 2 programs. The remaining 3 bucks I have made from advertising on my blog.

On March I got 2,297 unique visitors on my blog. On one day I had over 500 uniques from StumbleUpon! My overall traffic for all those 6 month comes down to 6,884 unique visitors. My Alexa ranking dropped down to 686,388 (it dropped again because of my new domain name which “resetted” my old ranking). I’ve run a Pagerank predictor over my blog and it showed me a Pagerank of 1 for the next Google update, but I hope it will be higher because I’m still building backlinks to my new domain.

So, the first phase of my Making Money Experiment is over now. I’ve reached my goal to make $100 within 6 month, I even made a total of $145. The experiment showed me that it is really possible to make money online, although my earnings are rather low. I’ve learned many things on my journey and I’ve gathered enough knowledge to enter phase two of the experiment.

I will give you some more details regarding my future goals soon, so far I can only say that it’s more than $100 within 6 month. I’ll try to start doing niche affiliate marketing, expand my referral base on PTC sites and several more things to earn a good amount of money and maybe make a living from it in the long term.

So far I will thank all my readers, commentators, my blogger friends, my money makers and especially my wife for her support and understanding for having less time for here. :)

See you soon,
Querblogger
