Bux.to - Payment Delays gone within 4 Weeks?

It was a long time ago since I’ve last written a post about the famous Bux.to. Well I had my reasons for that. To be honest, I was really pissed off about Bux.to with all their delays and empty promises (and I’m still pissed off right now). Since months they promised to release their so called “new script”, also known as Bux Reload, to speed up payments for all their members. But besides a short beta test phase nothing special happend until know. People get more and more annoyed about Bux.to and many of them stop clicking on ads and don’t purchase new referrals. Honestly, they are months behind their normal payment schedule…

Yesterday Alt3rtnativ3, the programmer behind the current and future Bux.to script, has made a very promising announcement. He told us that, according to the Bux.to staff, the current payment backlog will be gone within 4 weeks, meaning until early August. They will handle all open payments until they are in their normal payment schedule where you get paid after 60 business days if you’re a standard member and after 30 days if you’re premium.

So far so good, but I’ve heard way too many empty promises lately. So at the moment I’m a bit in doubt if they will really fix their payment problems in such a short time (or at all). I mean, why didn’t they do that earlier? Some people arque that this is because Paypal is about to unfreeze the Bux.to account or simply said, that they didn’t had the money until now and weren’t able to pay their members in time.  Well I personally don’t know for sure. For me it looks like something strange is going on behind the scenes, but I very much appreciate if they ARE fixing their problems. Let’s see…

Bye,

PS: NeoBux is getting better and better. I love that PTC! On what I see, it will be THE big competitor for Bux.to in the future. I mean instant payments, renting referrals, script changes within hours, extremely nice support, Paypal integration on the way…features Bux.to can’t provide right now.

Bux.to - 1st Anniversary!

Exactly one year ago, the todays probably most popular PTC was born…Bux.to! On June 12th 2007 the guys/gals behind Bux.to started their business and, against many difficulties that usually arrise from owning a PTC site, they have managed to constantely grow their business. Till today over 6 million people have already joined Bux.to. That’s an average of over 16,000 people each day!

But is this an anniversary that’s really worth celebrating?

Bux.to is facing some heavy problems lately. Payments are delayed for several months and many members start complaining about it. More and more people doubt that Bux.to is a legit business and can handle those many members.

The new script that should fix many of those problems, like catching cheaters or doing automatic payouts, is delayed for weeks and weeks, although it got announced again and again that it will be here soon. Well, the Bux.to members are waiting for months now.

I personally thought that they would release the new script, called Bux Reload, today at Bux.to’s first birthday. But it seems there’ll happen nothing special today. The only birthday “gift” they gave to their users was a special referral offer where you could save some bucks and get a free t-shirt. Ok, that isn’t bad at all…

You have exactly two options

Besides all those problems, there’s also another side. The Bux.to staff has paid their members §1,000,000 since June 12th 2007, an incredible amount. It clearly shows that they are really making money.

They are working on many other side-projects in order to fund their business. They have recently started the Bux.to Shop, have arranged the Bux.to Idol and are currently working on the Bux.to Academy (a fund raising service for web startups) and their very own payment processor called Paybux.

Sure, payments are still delayed at the moment and I understand everybody who complains about it, but if you have a closer look at their whole business model and engagement, you may see that they ARE working on fixing those problems. But I must also admit that they should release more details on what’s exactly going on.

You have exactly two options. First, you may quit Bux.to and stop complaining about it again and again. Second, trust the people behind Bux.to and make real good cash (although delayed for now).

I would personally prefer the second option! ;)

Happy Birthday Bux.to!

Ciao,

UPDATE 6/12/2008 21:00pm:

There actually happens a DDoS attack on Bux.to! The site is down because their servers get flooded from pings from a BotNet. A guy named “Burimi” appeared on the Bux.to forums stating he’ll shut down Bux.to forever, right before the site really went down. It’s very sad and bad news on Bux’s birthday, but I think the attack won’t last that long (at least I hope so)…

UPDATE 6/12/2008 23:00pm:

The DDoS attack seems to be over now. Bux.to is loading fine again! Must have been a script kiddie, because otherwise the attack would have last much longer in my opinion (and a real hacker would have taken real damage to the site)

Bux.to - My Current Stats

After a long time without too many updates about my progress with Bux.to, I will give you some more in-depth details about my current situation with this nice money maker. I will give you some statistics about my referral count, click rates, earnings and current news about Bux.to in general.

Bux.to - The Best PTC Ever

I started my Bux.to experiment/career way back in October 2007, where I was a complete noob in terms of making money online. But, until today, I don’t regret joining this PTC, the most popular of all PTC’s at the moment (and probably for the future). I had many highs and lows with Bux.to the last month. First I thought it was a scam, until I received my first payment in February 2008 (not much btw, but proof enough for me to keep on using that site). Then everything seemed to work right, until all those statistic delays started and many members thought this would be the end of Bux.to. Well, they are still alive!

Just recently I was invited for the beta test of the brand new script that powers Bux.to. I was amazed after finding an invite for this beta test, because only 10,000 members were allowed to test the new script. Ok, 10,000 members sounds much, but note that Bux.to has over 5,000,000 members today! Maybe the staff has noticed that I rank number in the top ten in the Google search results for the term “Bux.to” and have some influence?! :P

At the moment the most annoying thing at Bux.to is the really huge payment delay. They are three month late with their payments. But there are reasons for that delay! First, they had some serious trouble with Alertpay, which had several errors in the payment processing on their own side. The problem is already solved, payments will be processed as regular. Second, and most disturbing fact is the audit time. At the moment they have to check each payment request for fraudulent activity (thanks to all those scammers and users of autoclickers). With several thousand cashout requests each month one can only imagine how long that would take…

But, with help of the new script, several things will change. First of all, they will include some kind of autoclicker detection. Sorry, I haven’t (and won’t give you) any details about it! I think it’s a good step for faster payment requests, because the account audit times will get shorter. Second thing is semi-automatic payment processing instead of manual doing those payments. After the release of the new script, payment will definitely arrive way faster than right now!

Ok, let’s head over to my stats!

My Bux.to Stats

Let’s first have a look at the stats directly from my Bux.to account:

My Bux.to Account Statistics

You see, after joining the site nearly six month ago, I have done 3071 clicks by myself. I must admit, that’s not a high amount. I’ve seen users with way more clicks than I personally have. But I’m not below the average for sure. :)

So far I have a total of 72 referrals. 65 of them are purchased from Bux.to, the rest was done by promoting Bux.to on my blog. I personally haven’t referred many people…unfortunately. I’ve spent a total of around $80 for buying all those refs, luckily I’ve already made my investments back. Some more bucks I’ve invested were $65 for upgrading my account to premium status. That was the best thing I could do, not only because I get paid 25% more compared to standard members. It also increased the daily ad count from around 10 ads to sometimes more than 40 ones!

Now for the best part, my referrals have clicked a total of 12061 ads so far. In other words, each referral brought me around 167 advertising clicks so far. I have made my investments back!
I have a nice (or ugly) statistics graph where you can see the total amount of referral clicks since the beginning of January, where I bought my first referral pack:

Referral Click Statistic

You’ll notice the recent increase in my referrals click activity, that’s because I’ve bought another referral pack three weeks ago AND the statistics delay has gone (at least for me)!

So far I got paid $12.71 from Bux.to, back then to my Paypal account. So far I my account blance went up to over $168. At April 18th I’ve requested my second payout of $75 to my brand new Bux.to Mastercard. In my opinion the new card is another great step towards a more professional PTC. At the moment I’m still waiting for the payment to arrive.

At the moment I’m making around 3 to 4 Dollars each day, excluding my personal clicks on daily ads. That’s amazing for only 72 referrals, where around 10 of them are even inactive. I think about reinvesting most of my money (if it arrives some day) in new referral packages. If everything works right for the next month, I’ll see a huge increase in my overall monthly earnings! :)

Conclusion

At the moment you could have many doubts about Bux.to. Payments are late, statistics aren’t updating right, many people complain about this PTC already. Everyday there are new threads on the Bux.to forums from people that are waiting for their first money to come in.

On the other side, Bux.to has proven to be a professional PTC like no other. They have solved their problems with Paypal while searching for alternative payment processors. They have arranged a deal with Payoneer, a serious company providing the already mentioned Mastercard. They are currently working on a new script to give their members a way better experienece, not only moneywise.

I will furthermore support Bux.to as a real big money making opportunity (maybe I’ll get a higher ranking in the SERPS than Bux.to itself :)). Sure, there are payment delays and one could arque about their real business model, but I think they have some good plans for running their business for a longer time in the future. So far they have proved to pay many people, sometimes several thousand dollars!

Bux.to is THE great site, nothing more to say…! :)

Big Launch Day Ahead!

To make it short, within the next few days several money making programs will launch their services or introduce brand new features. It seems like April and May are very popular months for a fresh start. :)

Ok, the first service in the list is the Fair Ads Network. I’ve already reported about this advertising company that tries to compete with major players like Google Adsense for example. Until now FAN was in beta phase and will officially start at April 29th. Although I don’t use FAN on my blog at the moment, I’m looking forward to implement their advertising codes on my site again. I had removed them because the ad blocks didn’t show any ads at all for me (hence the beta phase). You can use FAN just like Google Adsense or Adwords for monetizing your blog/website or creating your own PPC campaigns.

The second site, that will open its doors on April 30th, is NeoBux, a brand new PTC site with some innopvative new features like instant payments for example. I’ve reported about them some days ago, you can find the post about NeoBux here (or have a look at my Squidoo lens I’ve just created).

The third site worth to mention is Adbux. Although this PTC is around for a long time, the Adbux staff is about to introduce exciting new features. Adbux will (re)launch on May 1st, so stay tuned and watch for some nice new features to make even more money online.

The fourth and last site in my list of (re)launches is Bux.to. The staff is working hard on implementing the new script, which should solve the statistics update problems and (hopefully) make payments faster. Unfortunately I can’t say the excact date when “Bux Reload”, like they call it now, will start. But most members (including the forum admins) bet on May 1st. Well, let’s hope the best! :)

Ok, that should be all for now. Feel free to check those sites by yourself!

Cheers,

Bux.to - New Referrals - Approaching the Payout Limit

Three days ago I bought another 15 referrals from Bux.to and today they arrived and brought me the first clicks. Within only one day I got around $1.00 from these referrals and with my whole account balance I’m heading towards the $75 payout limit. I think I can make my first cash request to my brand new Bux.to card sometimes around Thursday or Friday when I reach those 75 bucks.

Bux.to is also about to release their new script within the next week or two. It’s very possible that, after the new script is released and working stable, payments become faster. Some people on the Bux.to forums (including admins) expect a new payment time of only 5 business days, instead of the 30 days for premium members now. Let’s hope the best, I’ll inform you!

That should be all, now I have to write some new articles for my first bum marketing project I’ve just started. I will report about it soon, so stay tuned!

So Long,

Bux.to Card Approved

On March 7th I have ordered the new Bux.to Mastercard. Today, after waiting for nearly 20 days, I finally got a mail from Payoneer with those nice words “your card got approved” :)

You may ask why I’m telling you this? Well, I will encourage all the people that are still waiting for their card to get approved. The Payoneer staff has a lot of hard work to do, because many thousand people are applying for the Mastercard. So, for some people it may even take longer before they’ll get their card. But the card will come!

Now I’m waiting for the card to be send to me by mail. I think it will take some days, because I’m from Germany and the card will be shipped from the USA. But, as long as I’ll get the card, I’ll feel happy.

I’ll keep you informed on further updates regarding the card!

The Bux.to card - Orders are open now!

Major announcements today! The Bux.to team has finally released it’s very own form of payment via MasterCard. Let me give you some more details regarding this card, how to order it, how you will be paid, some details about the fees (don’t worry, they arent’t that high) and what you can do with the card in general.

First of all, the Bux.to card is now only available for premium users due to the overhelming response from all the Bux.to people, everybody wants that card, but the staff won’t be able to handle it. So they decided to give it only to premium users, but I think the card will sometimes be also available for standard users, but I can’t say for sure.

Where to order it…

You can order the card from Payoneer, simply follow this link for the ordering process. But notice, you have to log in to your Bux.to account first! The ordering process is really simple, you first have to provide your name, address and phone number. The second part is simple too, you have to provide either your National ID number, your passport number or the ID from your driver’s license. Then you enter that number and confirm your entries. You don’t have to scan any documents, you’ll only need one of those numbers! Your data will now be approved by the Payoneer staff, which usually should take up to 3 business days. The card will be send within 2 days after the approval process is finished, worldwide!

How you’ll be paid…

So, if you are a proud owner of the new Bux.to card, you’ll also have a much nicer payment process right ahead. With Alertpay, the default payment option at the moment, premium members had to wait 30 business days for their cash to arrive in their account (which means 45 regular days, because business days means everything but holidays and weekends). But with the new Bux.to card, the process will be done within only 5 business days! So, from now on you can do many cashouts even within a single month (as long as you are a premium member, maybe it’s time for upgrading?).

The minimum cashout amount was raised to $75 for new Bux.to card holders. The high amount is probably due to the work involved in processing all those cashouts. If it was set to only $10 for example, the whole system would break down because of too many people requesting payouts at the same time. I think it’s a good option, because it shouldn’t be that hard to reach $75 in cash, especially when buying referrals!

The fees…

As mentioned before, the fees aren’t that high compared to other payment options around. The first fee you’ll have to pay is a one-time fee for activating the card. It’s only $9.95 and will be deducted from the first cashout balance that will be send to your card. The next fee is a regular one, each month $3 will be deducted from your card balance due to maintenance work. If your card has no balance, it will be blocked after 60 days and you would have to re-activate it. So, you should have some cash on the card!

Everytime you get paid from Bux.to, $2 will automatically be deducted from the cash amount too. So, you’ll pay $2 for each cashout request and it doesen’t matter if it’s $75 or $750. The higher the amount, the better.

Whenever you make a cashout from your card on a regular ATM (the card is accepted worldwide), you have to pay $1 as a US-citizen and $2 if you are a non-US citizens. Here, the same holds true, the higher the amount you request, the better. The card’s currency is USD, so there may also apply a small fee for converting the money in different currencies, I think it’s around 3% of the current exchange rate, but I’m not 100% sure about this.

What you can do with the card…

The Bux.to card is a regular prepaid MasterCard, or a debit card if you would call it so. The big difference to a credit card, is that you can only use the money that’s already on the card. You don’t have a credit on it and therefore you can’t run into deficit.

The card is accepted worldwide, just like any other Mastercard or VISA card. You can withdraw money on millions of ATM’s around the world. You can do direct payments in stores and even online. You only have to make sure that enough funds are on the card, then it should work nearly everwhere around the world.

I have already ordered my card yesterday and I’m currently awaiting the approval of my application (ok, it’s weekend now…). I hope to see the card by the end of next week. I’m really happy about the short waiting times for money to be send to the card. Only 5 business days is a whole lot better than 30 or even 60 business days for standard memebrs. When I receive my first cashout with the card I wil definitely think about buying more referral packages, because then Bux.to will be a vast resource for big money to be made!

The best regards,
Querblogger

PS: I’m sure I have forgotten one or two details here, but feel free to ask me more about the new card. I’ll do my best to find out more infos!

Bux.to - First Payment Received!

Just yesterday I talked about waiting for the first payments from Bux.to within the next days. Today the payment is alread here! I just checked my statistics and there were the holy words “Payment sent”. After only 28 business days, meaning 2 days faster than expected, I received $12.71 in my Alertpay account. It was a flawless process and I´m really happy.

You know I had my doubts if Bux.to will really pay me, that´s my nature somehow ;) But now I´m convinced of the truth. At least Bux.to seems like a huge money making machine for the next month (I still have my doubts if they can sustain for a longer time with such high payouts up to some thousand dollars). What I don´t like at the moment is the Alertpay payment option, because I can withdraw my funds only via check with high fees. I´m waiting for the new Bux.to debit card, more infos should follow this week!

For the next weeks I´ll try to buy some more referral packages until I make good daily money. I´ll use a great portion of my earnings for re-investing (provided that I make enough cash).

All I can say now is, join Bux.to if you want to make good money. Invest in buying referral packages (start with cheap ones), you´ll make your investment back within 2 to 3 weeks.

Bye,
Querblogger

PS: If you want to join an instant paying PTC, just check out my article about NeoBux. So far I’ve done two cashouts and the money arrived in my Alertpay account almost immediately!

PPS: Find out how to get paid to search the internet. You can earn up to $0.06 for a single search on Google, Yahoo or Ask.com! Read my review and start earning some nice extra cash after joining that site.

Bux.to - Big Payout Day Ahead!

As the title says, I´ll receive my first payment from Bux.to within some days, at least in theory. After waiting 30 business (the standard waiting time for premium users), I will receive my first cashout on February 22nd, meaning this Friday. The amount is a little bit over $12.00. I hope that they will actually pay me, because I have some doubts on how serious this company really is. Sure, many people seem to already got paid from Bux.to, but there are also some rumors about people complaining about not getting paid. As long as I don´t see my money in my Alertpay account, I must assume they are “scammers” (this sounds hard I know ;)

My current account balance is about $45 with most of the money generated from my 15 bought referrals (I broke even with this investment within only 14 days). I´ve also upgraded to a premium membership to receive payments faster (and give you more infos faster too). In theory this all sounds just too good to be true, let´s wait until Friday to see what´ll happen. I´m also waiting for the new Bux.to debit card, which will be available for all premium members as an payment option. The card will be an VISA Electron card, which you can use in many ATM around the world or for online payments. The Bux.to team promised to release some info about it soon, I´m waiting…

Next Friday will also be the time for requesting my first payment from Paid.vg, another good PTC site with an average of 10 daily ads and a nice referral program. You must know that you can only request payments at the 22nd of each month! My 4 referrals generated around $10 since I joined this site. I now have reached the $10 minimum payout limit :)

Bux.to Premium Membership

In my last article about breaking even on Bux.to I also mentioned to upgrade my membership to premium. I wanted to do this for different reasons, 25% more earnings for each click, faster payouts (only 30 days) and, last but not least, to show me and you if Bux.to really works as promised or if they scam us. There are two kind of people out there, the ones that praise Bux.to for earning many hundred dollars each month, and the ones that say Bux.to is a scam because of not receiving any payments.

So, to find this out and to accelerate the long payout process I upgraded my account yesterday and therefore “risked” $59. I won´t loose that big amount of money if I´m not getting paid from them.

Today I received the premium status and I´m already seeing the benefits. The daily ad count is now 34 ads (as a standard member it was around 15). Each ad is worth $0.0125! The Bux.to team also resolved their Paypal issues, you can now pay via Reg.net, which offers credit card payments and Paypal payments, think about it as some kind of middleman. The payments can be received via Paypal as usual.

I hope my membership upgrade will pay off like my investments in buying 15 referrals (I´m in the profit now with around $8!). I´ll keep you updated when my payments will arrive (hopefully around February 22th).

So long,
