@Chamil:
Yep, the rankings are getting better now (the blog already received a PR1 too). I really like that because it increases the value of links sold via my site. Setting up such a blog is not the hardest thing in the world, especially if you're using a host that supports Fantastico for automatic Wordpress installations (like Hostgator does). The newest version of WP (2.7) makes it even easier since you can install plugins directly from the WP user interface without uploading any files. I would highly recommend Hostgator for such a blog, be sure to choose the "Baby" package for $8 which supports unlimited sites, meaning you can run dozens of such blogs on a single account!

@Matt Strange:
The traffic is slowly getting better. Since I started the blog at the beginning of December, it already got around 1,000 unique visitors. For the last days it was even averaging 50 to 80 visits daily...and those numbers are still climbing!

Hi Querblogger,
I am very interested in your new Auto Blog business model. I frequently check your blog (water-fuel blog) for traffic rank. Yes it is steadily climbing up.
I am also like to have this kind of blog as it is easy to maintain but I never used Word press before. I am using Blogger blog.
Is Hostgator Hosting Ok for this auto blog?
Thank you for giving useful information.

Hmm..a new business model, you say? Well, then I'm looking forward to seeing what's about. I would like to experiment with such kind of sites ( automated blogs, that is ) myself, but I already have enough work on my hands for now. I simply can't afford starting new projects :P . One niche site and one blog are enough for me, at the moment.

But when I'll have more time to check on other business models, then I'll probably consider starting my own automated blogs, too. Will see.. :D

Have a nice day,
Tiberius

Well, the site is doing fine and fresh content keeps coming in. It's nice to see the post count growing, without me doing anything at all ;) Now I only need to wait for the first text links to be sold and I'm raking in money, muharharhar...

Another good thing is, today I found a (potentially) even more profitable business model which is like the auto-blog thingy, but way more rewarding. I'll talk about it soon, for now I have to study some more facts about it (I bought an ebook on the Warriorforum for $49 and the writer perfectly over-delivered, lots of quality content, videos...)

See you,

Hello you evil blogger,

How are you doing? Just wanted to drop by and say hello ;) . So, I've been watching your progress with the automated niche site for awhile now. From what I've heard ( actually, read ) from you, it seems like a good way of earning some extra bucks, without working that much. I don't think that 10 hours of setting everything up and doing all the necessary tweaks, is a lot of work.

Especially if you consider that, once the site is good to go, it will pretty much do things on its own. I'm wishing you good luck with it! Don't forget to keep us informed on how everything's going :) .

See ya soon,
Tiberius
