NeoBux – Paypal is gone!

Just some short, but bad news from NeoBux. Paypal has frozen 72% of funds in the NeoBux account and also suspended the account for the next 180 days. The reasons? With one word, Paypal…

Paypal isn’t giving the NeoBux admin any specific information besides telling him that “too many transactions were done with his account”. WTF? What did they expect from a PTC site with nearly 2 million members, 10 transactions a day or what? Although you can use Paypal nearly everywhere on the web, I really believe they get worse each day, now that they also refuse to work with one of the rarely honest PTC’s on the web, and that in times of one bank crisis after the other…that’s ridiculous!

Anyway, NeoBux admin has announced that instant payments won’t be affected by this “ban”. In fact, nothing will change with NeoBux besides only having Alertpay left as a payment processor. The site business is still running stable, although a great portion of the funds are frozen right now.

Maybe it’s time to introduce NeoBux’s own debit card? Maybe this ban isn’t as bad as we all think it is as it drives even more innovation. Well, we’ll see…

Bye,

That really is a bad news for most of the NB members. I see that PayPal “pulls the plug” on even the most trusted PTC in the industry, at the moment..not only on those who are cheating and scamming. Seems like they do not trust this niche that much..But it’s a good thing that AlertPay isn’t the same..At least, you can get your money via their service, without them being so tough with the rules.

Hope things will get better at NB soon and wish all the members good luck with their earnings ;)

    Cheers, bud,

Fortunately Alertpay now accepts way more countries than some months before. I’ve just done a withdrawal request for 60 bucks to fully test their service. Let’s see when it’ll arrive in my bank account…

But a debit card would be even better, hehe… :)

    See you Tiberius,
    Peter

Yep, I know. I’ve just read some posts from the NeoBux forum and found out that AlertPay is, indeed, accepting more countries than a few months ago. I’m looking forward to seeing how long will it take for your 60 bucks to arrive in your bank account, after you’ve made the withdrawal. Do let me know how things worked out in the end ;)

Oh, and yeah: a debit card would be a better option, I agree..Guess it’s easier to receive/spend money this way, than by using your AlertPay account or other payment options :)

    Have a nice day Peter,

Stumbled on your site while search for info on PayPal and Neobux.

The following is an excerpt from Clixsense, in particular, paragraph 5 which I am viewing with concern. What’s your take on this?

“Since the time ClixSense appeared online a few years ago, there have been many sites attempting to imitate our success. These sites try to throw every gimmick under the sun at you in an attempt to bring traffic to their sites. Here are some of the gimmicks they try and why they don’t work:

1: You get paid for the ads your downline views – Trash! Why would any advertiser want to pay someone who doesn’t ever see their ad? Sure, this rewards the surfers, but not the advertiser and is the #1 reason advertisers don’t advertise on those sites. What good comes from surfing a site with no ads?

    2. Package Priced Ads – Trash! These sites sell fixed price advertising. For example, they may sell 1,000 hits for $16.00. The real reason behind this is that they don’t have the membership base to allow advertisers to purchase larger quantities of traffic. They recycle the ad to the very same traffic that has already seen the ad. As an advertiser, you want to reach as many unique and responsive prospects as possible. ClixSense has the membership base others only dream of!

    3. Selling Referrals – MAJOR TRASH! Where do you think these members came from? These sites rely on referrals to build their sites in the first place! These are fake accounts which were generated by scammer members opening multiple accounts to cheat the advertisers out of their advertising dollars. The inexperienced site owners then sell these fake accounts to you as “referrals”. At ClixSense every member is referred by someone else. Our member accounts are real which doesn’t leave any unreferred members to be sold. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising. ClixSense gains all new members by referral only as we do not do any outside advertising for new members.

    4. Instant Payouts – More Trash! This one has a lot to do with the “Selling Referrals” as discussed above. Sites that attempt to make payouts to their members through an electronic payment processor usually aren’t around very long. The reason is because most payment processors allow users to use multiple email addresses to receive payments. This allows for one person to open multiple surf accounts and get paid for the ads they view on each one. Again, advertisers want to reach real people to view their websites! Not the same person viewing their ad 4 or 5 times just to get paid for each time they view it.

    5. PayPal Payments – Beware! Any of these sites using PayPal for payments is certainly doomed for failure. PayPal does not process payments for “Paid to Click” type websites. It usually isn’t long before PayPal freezes the admins account along with your money – the money you earned for clicking ads on their sites. In fact, there are many risks to your own PayPal account. You should also be weary of any of the other “fly by night” processors these sites use. ClixSense pays it’s members by check on time month after month.

Did you know the average life of a “Paid to Click” type site is only three months? The reasons above is why! ClixSense is on it’s third year in business. Our business model is set up for fairness and success. We don’t “hype” things that don’t work, and we aren’t running some “copycat” script. The ClixSense site was developed in house by an experienced e-commerce staff.

The ClixSense support staff maintains a 4.5 out of 5 customer satisfaction rating. Our staff is here to provide support to our members anytime of the day. Help desk tickets are usually responded to in just a matter of minutes during our normal business hours. This is because ClixSense has an in-house staff. ClixSense is not a one person operation being ran on the side of a regular job. ClixSense is our job and our job is serving our members.”

    Hey,

yes it’s true that most PTC sites get their Paypal accounts frozen or PP doesn’t even accept such sites at all. The same happend to NeoBux too, but after only a week or two Paypal unfroze their accounts and even apologized for all the trouble (and also due to a petition that was signed from hundreds if not thousands NB members). They had seen that NeoBux is a legit and well-doing business. And in fact, I can only confirm that. Since nearly one year I’m earning a healthy profit from NB and so far got paid nearly 50 times. The last months I made approx. $15 in net profits each day (with about 4300 refs). Every day or two I do a cashout to Paypal and never faced any problems with them.

Clixsense seems like it’s fearing its competitors. That would explain this aggressive attitude against the whole PTC industry. Hey, they are a PTC too! I highly disagree with many points from this excerpt, because these facts are simply not true. Sure, it holds true for many smaller PTCs that don’t have experienced admins, but that’s definitely not the case with NeoBux. At least I can say that because I’ve made thousands with them, money that went straight into my Paypal account instead of being virtual play money that only exists in your PTC account balance (e.g. Bux.to).

    Cheers,

Yeah, been hearing a lot of horror stories about PayHell lately. Two of the biggest bullies on the web paypal and google. Makes me wish I had better programming skills and could provide a service that would leave them in the dust.

We need some of these know it all techies to step up. Makes me a little nervous to be using paypal. I don’t like the idea of working my ass off on a site and getting nailed for doing well.

Anyhow if you start to see an increase in profits from any of your online ventures I would make sure to transfer a big chunk to your bank account. Leave some for operating expenses and that’s it. That’s money you earned and they sound like thieves to me.
