Get Paid to Search Internet

Today I came across a site called My Homepages Friends (formerly known as My Search Funds), a site where you get paid to search the internet. Let me give you a short review on this service, at least all the details that I actually know about this promising making money opportunity.

Paid to search services are nothing new on the net, I could name a handful of them. But most of those programs already died or scammed their users, mainly because of getting banned from major search engines after violating their terms of usage. Basically, Get Paid to Search programs rely on those big search engines, because they generate ad revenue from them. Google for example offers an API for integrating search functionality within a website or blog. When users use the provided search function and also click on sponsored listings within the search results, they get paid a percentage of that revenue.

So, you may ask why My Homepages Friends is that different? Well, I don’t know exactly, but I think they are kind of special:

  1. They have paid many people within the last weeks and months. I’ve done some good research on several forums and blogs to find out if the service is a scam or not. Besides some people calling it a scam (as usual), most of them agreed with My Homepages Friends being a legit business.
  2. It seems they have real deals with major search engines to avoid getting banned. So far they had or actually have deals with Ask.com and Google for example.

So, what does My Homepages Friends really offer all those people trying to get paid to search the internet? Well, high ad revenue and a real nice referral system with 3 levels. Here are the features:

  • An easy to install search bar for IE and Firefox that makes you money from each search you do
  • Get paid to Search the Internet with up to 0.03 pound for each search, which is around $0.06 (they are based in the UK, but open to international members and they also pay international)
  • Payments to Paypal or direct deposits in a UK bank account 45 days after the end of a month
  • A 20 pound minimum payout level
  • A 3-tier referral system, you get paid 10% from level 1, 5% from level 2 and 2.5% from level 3 referral revenues
  • A sophisticated click-fraud protection system to stop scammers from using that service and destryoing it in the long run

I will test My Homepages Friends for the next days and try my best to get some referrals to get the ball rolling. I think this program is really worth to be promoted on differentl places around the net (I will soon write a tutorial about some techniques I use). Feel free to sign-up under me, if you hate me just google for “My Homepages Friends” and sign-up without my referral ID… :)

PS: I know the post title sounds like I have forgotten the “the”, but it’s for some SEO tactics. “Get Paid to Search Internet” should get more searches than the version including the word “the”… :)

    No problem Jilly, your guide also brings a bit more value to this post because it provides some extra infos to my readers too! :)

    So you do up to 100 searches per day? I haven’t thought that so many searches are even possible without getting banned. Well, reminds me to do some more searches by myself, so far I only do 10 to 20 each day… :)

    Bye,

    Hi again Querblogger. Thanks for response.
    I wouldn’t recommend anyone does 100 seraches everyday as that would most certainly lead to a ban eventually. I average about 50 searches per day which gets me the minimum £20 payout per month even if I don’t search everyday, which I do!!
    Just need to make sure a large % of searches are legitimate.
    I’ll be posting some guidelines on the site shortly showing how we can increase revenue without being penalised.
    Let’s get earning! :)

    Hello Querblogger,
    I have been a member since April 5th
    I have made 1337 searches and have earned £11.67
    I have 26 referrals on my level 1 and they have earned me £7.45 from 4115 searches.
    Level 2 have earned me £0.62 from 1375 searches.
    Level 3 have earned me £0.12 from 554 searches.
    I can’t tell how many members there are on Levels 2 and 3, but some of them are very active. One keeps doing about 90 searches a day, I just hope he does not get banned. I limit my searches to about 30 a day and try not search for the same thing more than once in a 10 day period. When I do a seach, I always click on something to complete the search.

    Remember guys,

    The Golden Rule of online marketing is: You always get what you paid for. So if you come across an online opportunity making wild claims of overnight riches for free, run the other way FAST! That said, I like this blog because it presents down-to-earth information and a sincere commitment to help others make money online. Great job, Querblogger and I will link my blog to yours. http://TheMoneyMachine.co.nr

    @Vic:

    Nice to see your stats Vic. I personally have only earned around £5.00 so far, but my refs made me already £3.00 and I agree that most of them are very active. Nice! What I don’t understand is that you “only” made £11.67 for 1337 searches? Doesn’t MHPF pay around £0.017 per search? At least that’s what they pay me (I’ve done 293 searches for making £4.91).

    @Jesus:

    I agree with you 1000%, it’s so true. If you want to become rich overnight then you have to work that hard for it, simplyy as that. But usually it will take way longer to make decent money online, even with investing much or all of your time in working on your online business. Everyone claiming to have the holy grail of “get rich quick” is probably scamming you and you SHOULD run away fast! :)

    Thanks for linking back Jesus!

    See you all,
    Querblogger
