Paid.vg Scam Alert!

Today I checked my Paid.vg account again to see if my first payment has finally been sent to my Alertpay account. But, as I already expected, no money was sent. I’m waiting since February 25th on my first $13 payout and the Paid.vg TOS states that payments will be send within 30 days. So, even after 30 business days, I didn’t get paid. Many members, including premiums, were not paid too. But that isn’t the only problem that currently occurs on Paid.vg…

Today I also noticed a mysterious change in my accounts payment history. Some days ago the history showed me a pending payment of $13 (the money I’m still waiting for), but today…nada! It seems the Paid.vg admin has silently removed pending payment requests. And here I’m not the only one again. It looks like all members with pending payments have the same problem.

This is what lets me think that Paid.vg turns out to be a real big scam! Unfortunately I have to tell you that, my fellow readers. I know I have promoted Paid.vg many times (it has looked legit until the latest problems) and I feel really sorry to have done that.

I can’t say for 100% if Paid.vg really is a scam, but at the moment it looks like it is. We have payment problems, deleted payment requests, deleted forum threads (some people reported it), a bad support (the ticket system is useless cause nobody answers your questions) and members often times don’t get their ordered referral packages or they get it far too late. For me this looks like money is flowing into Paid.vg, but unfortunately not out of it as it should.

I will keep this post until those problems get resolved by the Paid.vg staff and I encourage everybody, who didn’t get paid yet or feels scammed, to spread the word about this possible scam. I personally will write more scam warnings if it should really turn out to be one.

If you want to join a real good PTC site in the meantime, I would highly suggest you to join Bux.to (reff). This site, with over 3 million members, is legit and already tested by myself. It has a nice support and the best part is, Bux.to really pays!

  1. Is in scam section on our portal!

  2. Paid.vg is officially a scam now. The admin has closed the site too. I love reading your posts, I have even quoted things you have said about linkreferral while writing posts at my blog.

  3. Hi Ghatozkat,

thanks for pointing me to the Paid.vg site again. Well, seems the site admin is really sorry about closing his site. But, I personally don’t trust him for some reason. I think he made some good bucks, although he promises to pay back the invested money to most of his members…

Keeps me wondering how Bux.to has survived that long? Well, I think they CAN manage their money… :)

I’ve just read your post about your Adsense ban and you’re being a Linkreferral member too. Thanks for mentioning me (and my friend Tiberius). I can’t say for sure if the reason for getting banned from Adsense is using Linkreferral alone, but so far I see no other reason (I haven’t done anything against their TOS). At the moment I make my money from Speedyads, although not much…

    See you soon Ghatozkat!

PS: I’ve added your site to my Blogroll, feel free to add mine too (but only if you want to) :)

  4. Querblogger,
Thanks for adding my blog to your blogrool. You have put blogroll on your blog above the fold, i hope that will help my traffic. :). I have added your link to my blog as well, let me know if you want to change the anchor text.
Yeah, I am also wondering how bux.to has survived this long. I just saw your post about NeoBux, I will join it under you. I am sure you will thank me after that. :)
And a small suggestion, Speedy Ads has an ad format which does not show the “Ads By SpeedyAds” link at the bottom and place the ads above the fold too, that will bring in more clicks.

  5. Welcome back Ghatozkat!

Well, I hope you’ll get some traffic from this link, but at the moment I only have around 80 unique visitors a day, so the chances are not too high for you…

Thanks for joining under me. Let’s see how good (or bad) NeoBux will perform in the future, we’ll se in some days. I think the site looks professional and I hope the best.

    See you,
    Querblogger

PS: Do you mean I should change my ads so that the “Ads by SpeedyAds” shows up at the top of my ad blocks? I also haven’t found a way to (legally) remove the complete text…if you meant that.

  6. Sorry Querblogger, I mixed speedyads and Obeus, sorry abt that. Obeus has an ad blog format without the “Advertise here” or whatever logo. May be u wanna try Obeus.

How much are you making per click from SpeedyAds?

  7. Well, I thought something like that. Anyway, thanks for pointing me to Obeus, I have never heard about them before. Seems there are way too many advertising companies on the net today… :)

I can’t say much about Speedyads, I have used it only for two or three weeks now. But so far I make an average of $0.05 per click, nothing compared to $50 in the insurance field for example… :P
