Experiment nearly over now - Drumroll please!

Only some hours are left and my Making Money Experiment will come to an end, at least phase one (more info will follow).

I won’t go into the details here, but tomorrow I will write my sixth month report, where you will find a big summary of my progress and some future outlooks. Don’t think my experiment is completely over now, the first six month were only phase one, there’s definitely more to come!

Btw, this post was post number 99 and it makes perfect sense to end phase one with post number 100 tomorrow ;)

Cheers,

Ucash.in - Short Update

Warning! Before you read any further please note that Ucash.in seems to be a scam as reported by many of my fellow commentors here on TMME. It’s probably a good idea NOT to join Ucash.in right now until I can provide you with further details!

It was exactly 2 month ago since I had joined Ucash.in, an URL shortening site that pays you for every click generated on one of the shortened links you provide to your readers. To find out more about the benefits of this service, you can read my short Ucash.in review first!

Now it’s time for a short recap about my earnings. But before anybody gets too excited here, let me tell you that I haven’t made too much. It was only $0.60 in those 2 month…

But (yes there’s a but here), those earnings were mainly from my referrals alone. The last two month I was able to directly refer 12 people to Ucash.in. And by the way, you must know that there’s a 10-level deep referral program and so far I only have refs on the first level. I’m still waiting for some more refs in the levels below.

All in all I won’t say that Ucash.in is bad at all. It makes good sense to join the program if you have a site with many visitors a day. It would be very possible to make some good bucks, especially with many referrals down the line. Find out by yourself, it’s free to join!

See you soon,

Bux.to Card Approved

Warning! Bux.to has turned into a horrible PTC with payment delays of more than 6 months, a lame staff and forum mods that defeat Bux.to with their life although they even have not a received a single payment yet. I’m not the only one who didn’t get paid by them, thousands of users are complaining about this mess. The Bux.to staff are the most unprofessional people I’ve ever seen online for a long time (or maybe they are the best scammers I’ve seen, who knows…). I DON’T recommend joining them, there are way better PTCs on the market that even pay instantly, like NeoBux for example. There I already earned over $2,000 and got paid more than 10 times!

On March 7th I have ordered the new Bux.to Mastercard. Today, after waiting for nearly 20 days, I finally got a mail from Payoneer with those nice words “your card got approved” :)

You may ask why I’m telling you this? Well, I will encourage all the people that are still waiting for their card to get approved. The Payoneer staff has a lot of hard work to do, because many thousand people are applying for the Mastercard. So, for some people it may even take longer before they’ll get their card. But the card will come!

Now I’m waiting for the card to be send to me by mail. I think it will take some days, because I’m from Germany and the card will be shipped from the USA. But, as long as I’ll get the card, I’ll feel happy.

I’ll keep you informed on further updates regarding the card!

Paid.vg - Still Waiting for First Payments

WARNING: Paid.vg turned out to be a scam site. Please don’t join this site, the following post is only left here to show you how easy it is to get scammed…unfortunately.

On February 25th I’ve made my first cashout request on Paid.vg, a really good PTC sites comparable to Bux.to. I’ve requested $12.50 nearly a month ago, but so far I didn’t receive my payout. I’ve done some research in the forums and it seems some people already got paid the last days. I hope I will receive my first bucks too. My current account balance is now at $24, thanks to my 7 referrals who click eveyday. If it turns out that they really pay, Paid.vg seems like a very good money maker.

See you,
Querblogger

PS: I know, it’s only a short post. But there are Easter holidays here, henece the lack of updates…

Bum Marketing Experiment - Intro

At the moment I’m involved in investigating a really nice money making opportunity called Bum Marketing. Basically, it’s a way to make money online without investing a single cent. Therefore it’s called “Bum” Marketing, because even a bum from the street could (in theory) start earning a nice income online without paying anything for it.

The basic idea behind this marketing method is the following. First, you have to search a product you want to promote. It should be a niche product that people really want to buy. For example a uber-great ebook about magic methods for losing weight without doing any hard work on it (Ok, it’s probably an ugly example… :)

Second thing is keyword research. Look for long-tail keywords with high search volume and less competition (<5000 results on Google would be great).

Third part in Bum Marketing is writing articles with your long-tail keywords in the title and body. It’s really important to write your article with those keywords in mind to get the best position in the search results later on. You have to submit those articles to as many article directories you can. In the author box below your article you should integrate affiliate links to the products you promote.

Fourth step (the easy part). Rinse and repeat and watch your income grow. The more articles you write, the more money you’ll make from affiliate sales/leads. A single article won’t make you rich (it’s assumed that one article brings in $20 each month), but with 100 articles you will definitely see your earnings rise.

So far so good. That’s for the theory. But there’s is also the part with work involved. To actually test the income potential from Bum Marketing, I will do a long-term experiment on it. I’ll try to write some articles promoting different products (I think I’ll start with Clickbank first) and submit them to many article directories. Then I will see if one can really make good money from this marketing method.

Personally I expect to make far less than $20 a month from a single article, but that’s only a feeling, maybe I can make much more… :)

This post should only be a short intro to Bum Marketing. I’ll write more detailed articles later on. I will also report about my current progress (and my earnings). For now I have to do some more research on it….

See you,

The eBay Standalone Affiliate Program

Weird post title? You’re right, I haven’t found a better one such fast. But the major news behind this title is great (at least I hope so)!

Maybe you can remember one of my posts about becoming an eBay affiliate from outside the USA? If not, just let me tell you that it can be very difficult to register for the US based affiliate network if you resides somewhere outside the USA. But why eBay USA? Well, it brings higher comissions and a much broader target market then eBay UK for example.

Ok, now the major news. eBay has just announced today that they will start their very own affiliate program by April 1st. That means, no more CJ.com registration is required to join their network. And the best fact, they will globalize (!) their program. According to their news release they state:

“Easy global registration to multiple countries simultaneously”

I hope applying for international eBay affiliate programs will get easier now. If this would be possible, there would be many new ways to make money from it. I think about using BANS for example, a nice software to build your own niche store based on eBay auctions. But let’s see some new announcements when they start their program in 2 weeks, I hope all the best… :)

Ciao,
Querblogger

PS: If this post doesn’t make any sense to you (not only because of my sometimes bad grammar ;), please read my post about becoming an eBay affiliate first!

10 Useful Affiliate Marketing Resources

In order to make money online, and here I mean more than just some 50 dollars a month, you have to learn a lot of skills and techniques, especially about affiliate marketing. So, I can’t help you by providing any in-depth knowledge I’ve already learned by myself (I’m still a noob), but I can give you some good resources from where you can start. The following list contains 10 useful (and free) resources to learn more about affiliate marketing. Beside many other resources, I personally use these tools and information I find them very valuable.

1. Wickedfire

Wickedfire is a real awesome forum that mainly concentrates on affiliate marketing. There you’ll find a lot of good infos about the different aspects involved in marketing. It’s also a great place to find ideas that you can easily adopt by yourself. But be warned, the forum threads contains more or less rude language sometimes, which is a matter of taste. I personally like their style because it’s far more honest this way ;)

2. Digitalpoint Forum

The Digitalpoint forum is another wonderful place to find useful background information on afiiliate marketing. I think, compared to Wickedfire, this forum offers even more threads dealing about making money stuff. It would take years until everything would be read there.

3. Affiliate Masters PDF

One of the best free ebooks about affiliate marketing is probably the Affiliate Masters Course from Sitesell.com. It contains 165 pages loaded with many infos, from finding the right niches to creating good landing pages. It’s definitely worth the download, and it’s free!

4. Thirty Day Challenge

The Thirty Day Challenge was (and is) a contest held over the last years. The goal is to teach other people how to make their first 10 bucks online within a single month. Everyday there was released a new piece of information that helped the readers to start their own business online. Although the contest is over now and the next one will start at August 1st this year, you can still follow the last challenge from 2007. The information holds true even for today. Just sign-up for free and follow the instructions. Prepare for some well done (and sometimes funny) video tutorials by Ed Dale! ;)

5. Adwords Learning Center

With affiliate marketing you won’t come around doing some PPC advertising on one of the major advertising platforms like Google, Yahoo or MSN. If you need some good tutorials on how to set up Google Adwords campaigns, feel free to check out their learning center. They offer dozens of tutorial videos, ranging from the Google quality score, over the right ad copy to budget management. Very useful!

6. Wordtracker GTrends Tool

Wordtracker offers a free keyword research tool called GTrends. And I think it’s a must have for anyone trying to make money fro affiliate marketing. With Gtrends you can find many long tail keywords (up to 100 in the free edition), check their daily search volume and find competing sites that were optimized for the given keyword. It’s a fast and easy way to find good niches with less competition (which will make the most money).

7. Affiliate Networks

Some good affiliate networks you could join are Commission Junction and the Pepperjamnetwork for example. They both offer a great service and a huge portfolio of different products and services you can promote. Also Clickbank is worth atry if you want to promote electronic products like software or ebooks. Feel free to check out that link to find many more networks!

8. BANS Process Series

BANS stands for “Build A Niche Store” and is a nice software that allows you to start your very own eBay store. The BANS process series is a really good step-by-step tutorial on how to set up your first store.

9. Quit Your Day Job

QuitYourDayJob is one of the many blogs I’ll personally read on a regular basis. Sure, I could name a few dozens more here, but that would make that list even…longer. ;) Anyway, QYDJ is really worth a look. You’ll find a lot of brilliant ideas about affiliate marketing and many links to other valuable resources.

10. Deezer.com

Last but not least, I’ll present you Deezer.com. Ok, actually it hasn’t anything to do with affiliate marketing. But it may help you while reading all those ebooks, forum threads and blog posts. Deezer.com is a fully free and legal music platform. You can listen to almost every song in the world. Search for your favorite artist or album, create a playlist and start listening your music for free (you can’t download the music to stay on the legal way). I personally listen to Deezer.com while doing my researches, it helps me to relax a little and I feel a lot better. :)

Ok, that’s all for now. I hope you like my list, maybe I’ll start another one when I have found more useful affiliate marketing resources.

Until then my sson-to-be marketers!

Get Free Backlinks with Directory Submitter!

You may or may not know that website directory submission is quickly becoming a very popular and easy way to get quality, one way links to your website. The more backlinks you’ll generate for your site, the higher your rankings in the search engines. These kind of links are exactly what the search engines are looking for. The websites with more quality, one way links are typically the sites that rank the highest.

With that said, there are several websites dircetory submission programs on the market. But the best one I found so far was created by Brad Callen and is called Directory Submitter. The software currently contains around 2200 website directories. And the best thing is, the free edition contains 350 of them! Imagine the impact on your search engine rankings for your blog or website! ;)

The whole process for getting backlinks is easy:

1. Input your website details (i.e. title, description, URL, etc.) into the software

2. Click on the directory you want to submit to

And then the program will automatically fill in your website details. Then, you simply click the submit button and your website is instantly submitted to the directory. Then, you can move to the next directory, go through the list, and by the time you’re finished you’ll have roughly 2000 one way links pointing to your website (or 350 by using the free edition :).

I can’t think of an easier way to get links. Of course, if you’re going to get links this quickly, it’s important to vary your website title (anchor text) every 20-30 links or so, to make things look more natural to the search engines. If you won’t do so, you may get banned from the search index!

But you can avoid getting banned by using a special feature within the software. There’s an automatic rotating system included that changes your website title, description or meta tags from time to time. You only have to provide slightly different text for each of them. You can do this very easily via Directory Submitter when you create your project in the beginning.

The directories included in the software are constantly being updated and their is an nice community of users that all work together to make the software better and better, so you know you’re getting great value for the money (if you buy the gold edition, you can use the free one anyway).

To check out the software, go here:

http://querblog.bryxen5.hop.clickbank.net

Happy submitting and Bye bye!
Querblogger

PS: It may take some time to see positive effects from many backlinks, the search engines need some time to correctly crawl all those directories and “find out” that they all link to your own site! :)

The Bux.to card - Orders are open now!

Major announcements today! The Bux.to team has finally released it’s very own form of payment via MasterCard. Let me give you some more details regarding this card, how to order it, how you will be paid, some details about the fees (don’t worry, they arent’t that high) and what you can do with the card in general.

First of all, the Bux.to card is now only available for premium users due to the overhelming response from all the Bux.to people, everybody wants that card, but the staff won’t be able to handle it. So they decided to give it only to premium users, but I think the card will sometimes be also available for standard users, but I can’t say for sure.

Where to order it…

You can order the card from Payoneer, simply follow this link for the ordering process. But notice, you have to log in to your Bux.to account first! The ordering process is really simple, you first have to provide your name, address and phone number. The second part is simple too, you have to provide either your National ID number, your passport number or the ID from your driver’s license. Then you enter that number and confirm your entries. You don’t have to scan any documents, you’ll only need one of those numbers! Your data will now be approved by the Payoneer staff, which usually should take up to 3 business days. The card will be send within 2 days after the approval process is finished, worldwide!

How you’ll be paid…

So, if you are a proud owner of the new Bux.to card, you’ll also have a much nicer payment process right ahead. With Alertpay, the default payment option at the moment, premium members had to wait 30 business days for their cash to arrive in their account (which means 45 regular days, because business days means everything but holidays and weekends). But with the new Bux.to card, the process will be done within only 5 business days! So, from now on you can do many cashouts even within a single month (as long as you are a premium member, maybe it’s time for upgrading?).

The minimum cashout amount was raised to $75 for new Bux.to card holders. The high amount is probably due to the work involved in processing all those cashouts. If it was set to only $10 for example, the whole system would break down because of too many people requesting payouts at the same time. I think it’s a good option, because it shouldn’t be that hard to reach $75 in cash, especially when buying referrals!

The fees…

As mentioned before, the fees aren’t that high compared to other payment options around. The first fee you’ll have to pay is a one-time fee for activating the card. It’s only $9.95 and will be deducted from the first cashout balance that will be send to your card. The next fee is a regular one, each month $3 will be deducted from your card balance due to maintenance work. If your card has no balance, it will be blocked after 60 days and you would have to re-activate it. So, you should have some cash on the card!

Everytime you get paid from Bux.to, $2 will automatically be deducted from the cash amount too. So, you’ll pay $2 for each cashout request and it doesen’t matter if it’s $75 or $750. The higher the amount, the better.

Whenever you make a cashout from your card on a regular ATM (the card is accepted worldwide), you have to pay $1 as a US-citizen and $2 if you are a non-US citizens. Here, the same holds true, the higher the amount you request, the better. The card’s currency is USD, so there may also apply a small fee for converting the money in different currencies, I think it’s around 3% of the current exchange rate, but I’m not 100% sure about this.

What you can do with the card…

The Bux.to card is a regular prepaid MasterCard, or a debit card if you would call it so. The big difference to a credit card, is that you can only use the money that’s already on the card. You don’t have a credit on it and therefore you can’t run into deficit.

The card is accepted worldwide, just like any other Mastercard or VISA card. You can withdraw money on millions of ATM’s around the world. You can do direct payments in stores and even online. You only have to make sure that enough funds are on the card, then it should work nearly everwhere around the world.

I have already ordered my card yesterday and I’m currently awaiting the approval of my application (ok, it’s weekend now…). I hope to see the card by the end of next week. I’m really happy about the short waiting times for money to be send to the card. Only 5 business days is a whole lot better than 30 or even 60 business days for standard memebrs. When I receive my first cashout with the card I wil definitely think about buying more referral packages, because then Bux.to will be a vast resource for big money to be made!

The best regards,
Querblogger

PS: I’m sure I have forgotten one or two details here, but feel free to ask me more about the new card. I’ll do my best to find out more infos!

Shrtnd.com - URL Shortening for FREE!

I’ve promised it already in some of my last posts and now it is time to disclose our secret. Me and my friend Midwest from MyPPCAdvertising have worked on our first web project for the last weeks, hence the lack of updates ;) But now it is time to open it to the public!

If you look at the title of this post you may already guess what this project is all about. And yes you’re right, it’s an URL shortening service named Shrtnd.com! We both are proud to release this service to all of our readers (and the rest of the world) free of charge.

The last days we had many things to do. Starting with an idea from Midwest, we gathered some good scripts, built a website and custom design, included some kind of content, worked on some monetization strategies, bought a domain and hosting package and finally checked the whole site for potential errors. You see, a lot of work was involved, but now we are ready to finally launch shrtnd.com.

So what can you expect from our URL shortener? Well, a simple and easy interface to make any long URL short. You are able to enter any URL you like, add some custom tags if you will and finally let our service “shortify” that URL. It takes only a second or two, and your URL will be a shortened one. You can then use it wherever you like, within your own website or blog, in your next email or SMS message. I could tell you more about shortening an URL, but to save some time, feel free to have a look at our info page about the advantages from URL shortening.

Some last info. You may ask what an URL shortening site has to do with making money online? It’s simple, we both hope to make some money from it. Therefore we have integrated some advertising banners at the bottom of the page which contain affiliate links that’ll get us commissions. All we need to make (some) money from this site is traffic, the more the better :)

We will do our best to promote the site with different free and paid advertising services and we’ll keep you informed about our progress and the potential earnings.

For now, please visit shrtnd.com to test it by yourself. If you like the service, feel free to set a link to it and spread the word. We appreciate any help from you, our fellow readers! If you like to write a review on your own blog, do it! Me and Midwest have started a nice contest! If you are under the first 10 bloggers who write about shrtnd.com, you´ll get 200 Entrecard credits from us. What you have to do, is simply writing a review on our site, then leave a comment on one of our blogs containing the URL to your review post and the email address we should send the credits to. After we have approved your review, we will immediately credit your Entrecard account with 200 points. But remeber, you have to be one of the first 10 people who write such an review in order to get them!

With my best regards and happy reviewing,
Querblogger
