Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

No money-making post today, sorry. I think everybody should have at least some days to stay away from its daily work or even hobby to have some time for family and/or friends. So I won´t write new posts for the next few days, because the family is more important these days, it´s christmas! So I want to thank all my readers and commentors I´ve had so far, you keep me staying with my goals!

I wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!

We´ll see us in some days, when I´ll come up with new information about making money online. Until then, have a good time!

Subvert and Profit – Minimum Payout Reached

I just want to inform you that today I´ve reached the $10 minimum payout limit on Subvert and Profit. I´ve been a member there for around 2 month now, but these earnings were generated in around one and a half month.

Subvert and Profit is basically a site that pays you for either digging other peoples stories or voting for those articles with StumbleUpon. You´ll get $0.50 for each task from them, with an average of 10 tasks per month. A bit evil, but easy money in my opinion, although I won´t suggest anybody doing this for the long term (you may get banned from Digg or StumbleUpon).

I´ve just withdrew the $10 to my Paypal account and I´m currently waiting for the money to be send (it may take some days). I´ll inform you when I´ll get paid, so you can see that S&P isn´t a scam or that like.

See you,
Querblogger

Update: I´ve received my $10 payment with PayPal one day after withdrawing my balance! So, Subvert and Profit is definitely NO scam! Feel free to join them, it´s worth it.

Learning Forex Trading

As I´m currently involved in learning the basics in Forex Trading, I just want to give you some information on where to start.

Trading on the Forex market isn´t something you can do without gaining enough knowledge. If you aren´t educated enough, you may lose a considerable amount of money in a very short time (sometimes within minutes), so it would be better to learn all the stuff involved with currency trading before you really start.

Recently I discovered a very nice website that actually helps you in gaining access to this market. The site is called Babypips.com, a funny name, but with a lot of useful information inside. The guys who founded this website have a good understanding of the Forex market with many years of experience. But this doesn´t mean that this site i boring as hell with lot of theoretical stuff, actually the informations they provide are written in a sometimes very funny (and understandable) way. The best part is their School of Pipsology, where you´ll learn all about Forex Trading from the very basics to more difficult aspects of trading. Check it out if you want to learn all about trading!

While you learn all the theory, you can also open a demo trading account with an online broker like Oanda, where you can test your knowledge and make some “theoretical” trades without loosing any money. Oanda offers a demo account (called FXGame) without a time limit like 30 days or that kind, so you have definitely enough time to test your skills. It´s also suggested to demo-trade for at least 2 month before you go live with real money!

That should be enough for now, because I´m still a noob and don´t want to you provide with more detailed info, because I don´t know too much yet ;)

Best Regards and happy demo trading!

The Immensehits Scam

I only want to drop some lines about a scam site discovered by my friend Midwest (here´s his article about it). He recently tested a traffic building site called Immensehits.com that promises to bring you visitors to your blog or website for hard cash. He tested this site with keeping in mind that they may be scammers (so please praise this guy for risking his money ;)

The results were really ugly. He bought 10,000 visitors for around $8.00 and received no single visitor at all! A clear sign that Immenseshits.com is a big scam site. If you consider that they also offer bigger packages for some hundred dollars, it would be really worth to mention that you WILL lose your money if you buy one of these ad campaigns, because you won´t receive what you´re promised to get, a ton of visitors. Please don´t do it!

Feel free to tell me your experiences with Immenseshits.com!

Best Regards,

Paid.vg – Yet Another Bux.to

WARNING: Paid.vg turned out to be a scam site. Please don’t join this site, the following post is only left here to show you how easy it is to get scammed…unfortunately.

Today I want to present you another nice paid-to-click site called Paid.vg, which works very similar to Bux.to and some other PTC sites I´ve already joined.

Some days ago my friend numb2k3 from Income For Everyone asked me to join one of his paying sites in the exchange of joining one of mine. He suggested me Paid.vg, a nice paid-to-click site. I accepted his offer and joined immediately (because I´m such a lovely person :) Now, after some time of testing this new opportunity, I can tell you some facts about it.

Paid.vg is a site that shows you paid advertisements. Each day you will be provided with around 7 to 10 ads you can click on. After each click, the advertised site is shown for around 30 seconds. When the timer goes to zero, you´ll get paid $0.01 (not that big bucks I know). So if you click 10 ads each day, this adds up to $0.10 each day and $3.00 each single month (I know, it would be hard to do this on a regulary basis, so it´s just the “best-case” example).

So $3.00 per month doesn´t sound like a regulary income to make you quit your dayjob, but this isn´t the whole story. Paid.vg also offers a nice referral program. For each member you refer to them, you´ll also get $0.01 for each advertisement they click. So imagine you have 100 active referrals (don´t scream, it´s really possible to have so many refs), and everybody clicks only 5 ads per day and does this for only 15 days per month, you´ll get $75.00 (sounds much better than only 3 bucks).

Actually it may be really hard to get many referrals, so Paid.vg also offers you to buy you new un-referred members. Each new referrals costs around $1.00 (the more you buy, the cheaper it will be), so if you get active ones it would be worth to invest that money because it pays of for the (not so) long term. You can even get more if you upgrade your membership, you´ll receive 20 ads per day each worth $0.0125 (this also goes for referral clicks).

Paid.vg also enables you to advertise your own website or blog. For $0.99 you´ll receive a minimum of 50 member views (and for “only” $1950.00 you´ll get 100,000 ;) . You can even start a banner ads campaign if you will.

You´ll receive payments after reaching a $10.00 payout limit. You can use your balance for advertising or withdraw your cash to a Paypal account, nice and easy.

So why did I say it´s “yet another Bux.to”? Because Paid.vg offers nearly the same services like the great Bux.to (one of my best money makers so far). You get paid $0.01 for each click with a nice amount of daily ads (on of the main reasons to join such sites, because you can make some good bucks). The referral program works nearly the same and you can also advertise your site. But it really doesn´t matter if both sites copy each other as long as one can generate good money with it ;)

Have a nice day,
Querblogger

PS: At the moment I´m heavily involved in soaking up everything about trading on the Forex market. I´m totally addicted to it (may be I´m crazy). Forex Trading seems like a great money making opportunity, you can read more about it in my Forex article. I´ll keep you informed about new stuff I´ve learned!

Make Money from Forex Trading

Today I want to tell you some things about Forex Trading, which fascinated me since I´ve first heard about it some days ago (no, I´ve heard from it even some years ago, but didn´t realized it´s potential so far). Sure, it isn´t anything for fast money and for those who won´t take any risk, but as I said, I´m really fascinated about this money making opportunity and so I want to tell you about it here.

Forex Trading isn´t the usual way for making money online in terms of all the other posts I´ve written so far here on my blog which deal about paid-to-click programs, advertising networks like Bidvertiser, sponsored posts or selling text links. But, what Forex Trading has in common, is that you can do it online (or call it work-from-home) like all the other programs I´ve spoken about so far.

What is Forex Trading?

First things first, I´m NO expert in the field of Forex Trading or trading in general (not yet). But I´m expert enough to understand the most basic principles involved with it. So I want to share my “knowledge” with you, but I´m also willing to learn more about it, so please feel free to give me some comments and tips for a newbie like I am.

The name Forex is an abbreviation for Foreign Exchange market, sometimes also called only FX. As the name suggests, the whole thing is about the worldwide currency market. The Forex market is the most established market in the world with a daily(!) trading volume of over $2 trillion, an amount of money beyond anybody´s grasp.

Basically, trading on the Forex market means trading with different currencies. You can buy currencies against other currencies with the goal of making profit from changing exchange rates. For example say you buy some Euros today and, considering the steady increasing rate of the Euro, you sell it the other day, you´ll likely make some profit because the exchange rate has increased and your bought Euros are worth more than the day before (so, this doesn´t work on an everyday basis). You can trade 24 hours a day, 365 days a week, so it´s a really fast market because you can make profits within hours or even minutes if there´s enough change in the currency rates.

On the Forex market you can trade with different currency pairs like EUR/USD (e.g. buy Euros with US Dollars) or GBP/AUD (e.g. buy Brithish Pounds with Australian Dollars). The available pairs depend on the market maker you choose, meaning the “online service” you´ll use for trading currencies online. There are usually around 10 to 20 different pairs available, including the most important ones like the US Dollar, Euro or Yen. Those market maker provide you with the actual exchange rates for example in the following form: EUR/USD 1,4712/15. Looks a bit strange at the first look, but it isn´t that difficult. The first number (1,4712) shows the current selling price, the second number the buying price (only the last two digits to save some space). So this example would mean that you could buy one Euro with $1,4715 and sell it for $1,4712 (the gap between those two prices is called spread, which goes to the market maker because they must finance their services too ;)

If the exchange rate now increases and you sell your previously bought Euros, you make profit, easy isn´t it ;)

Where can I trade on the Forex market?

I´ve mentioned those market makers earlier. One can say that these are like companies offering you services to deal with different currencies online. Most times you can join them for free and don´t have to pay comissions or fees for trading (you only have to take into account those spreads I´ve mentioned earlier). The most of them provide you with a software or an online panel where you can see the current exchange rates, analyze statistics, read current market news and, the most important part, make the deals.

I´ve seen some market makers where you can start with a balance as low as only $50, so you won´t have to take the risk in loosing a lot of money. It´s nice for a fast start and it will help you in learning the principles. Some companies even provide you with a demo account, where you make deals in theory (but you won´t make any money), perfect for a first look into the world of trading. I´ve signed up for a demo account some days ago with a balance of $50,000 (an amount of money far beyond from what I´ve ever seen…). And I must say it´s really awesome, I´ve made $2600 in profit within only two days!

There are some downsides

Never think about trading on the Forex market as a gold mine! With the right knowledge, a good understanding of statistics to predicts trends and the right timing you can make some decent profits. But you can also lose a huge amount of money very fast if something unpredictable happens on the market!

The second thing is the cash balance you are personally able to use. Basically the more cash you have, the more profits you can make. But this doesn´t mean that you can´t start trading on this market, it´ll only take longer until you actually see good profits.

Conclusion

You see, I´m very excited about the whole Forex thing. I could write dozens of more paragraphs about it, including leverages, margins, statistic analysis…, but I won´t scare my readers away. I´m also in the wrong postions to provide you with more detailed information because I´m fairly new and still learning all the facts and theory.

But I see a huge potential in trading with different currencies and I´m likely to do it by myself as I´ve gained more knowledge and feel more comfortable with it. I also won´t be able to invest thousands of dollars, I can only start very small trying to make even some small profits. But I think it could work for the long term. Let´s see.

I´ll write about my current progress in Forex Trading later on. For now I must read more tutorials and learn, learn, learn.

Best Regards!

Monetize Your Blog – WidgetBucks

Welcome to my third article about monetizing your blog. In my last two posts I spoke about the Fair Ads Network and Bidvertiser. Today I want to tell you some things about a nice money making opportunity which I recently integrated into my own blog which is called WidgetBucks.

Unlike other ad networks like Google Adsense, the Fair Ads Network or Bidvertiser, where you place some pay-per-click ad blocks on your site, WidgetBucks goes a step further by providing you not only simple text links, but nice product pictures with prices, price trends and product ratings. If someone click on of those ads (or products) you´ll get paid, simple isn´t it?

You have the choice of what is shown within such a widget. You can either choose a product type by yourself (e.g. funny gadgets) or you can use their MerchSense technology which only shows products related to your site or blog content (e.g. it shows digital cameras if you write about them). If you want to see the widget in action, have a look at my blogs right side bar!

The integration into your blog is very easy. First you have to choose the widget´s layout, they offer different sizes and color schemes that fit best with your blog design. After that, you have to choose the products shown within the widget (or you can use their MerchSense technology). You can also set the time a single product is shown before the next one will appear (usually there are 10 products in each widget). After completing this, you get a piece of html code that you have to paste in your blog or website template (for Blogger.com users it´s even easier, all you have to do is clicking the “Blogger” button which places the widget directly in your blog template).

So, what will you earn from those widgets? Actually there isn´t a fixed price for a single click on one of the ads shown within the widget, but different WidgetBucks user report a CPM from around $3 to $6, which means for every thousand visitors you get, you´ll generate that amount of money. But notice, this is only an average value, if you write a detailed blog about a product, it´s likely that you can generate even more, because your visitors are more likely to click on one of the shown ads.

You can join WidgetBucks for free and you´ll even get a $25 signup bonus. Payouts are sent out via check or Paypal 45 days after reaching the $50 payout limit. They also offer a referral program where you´ll get 10% of your referral earnings for a 12 month period after they join under you.

For now I haven´t generated any money with WidgetBucks because my blog traffic is fairly low. But I think there´s a huge potential for blogs or website with higher visitor counts, especially for those sites that deal about different products that aslo show up in the widget.

See you!

Monetize Your Blog – Bidvertiser

After my last article about Fair Ads Network I´ll now speak about Bidvertiser, another Pay-per-click advertising system you can use to promote your blog or website and to make money from showing those advertisements.

The last days I was looking for more ways to monetize my blog or, in other words, to make a direct little income from my writings here. So far, the most time I´m involved with Get-Paid-To sites that make me some cents by clicking some ads or taking a free offer. But I thought it would be nice if I can generate some money directly from my blog content, so I´ve recently integrated an ad block from Bidvertiser in my left sidebar (I´m sure you´ll find it ;) .

Bidvertiser is an advertising system on a pay-per-click basis just like Google Adsense or the before mentioned Fair Ads Network. So basically, as an ad publisher you´ll place an ad block on your site and if any of your visitors clicks on of those ads, you´ll get paid.

What distinguishs Bidvertiser from the other ad networks is their bidding system (hence the name). Advertisers can bid on ad placements within ad blocks shown on different blogs or websites. The more they bid, the more popular those ads will be shown and the more likely it is that somebody clicks on it.

The bidding system brings many advantages for both advertisers and ad publishers. Advertisers have a great influence on their ad placement and the success of their ad campaigns. Publishers will benefit from the highest paying ads that will show up on their sites. The Bidvertiser system is constantly optimizing your ad blocks, so that you´ll generate the most money from a single click (ranging from a single cent to many dollars). You can also choose from a huge number of different ad layouts ranging from banners and buttons to text links. You can even customize the color and style to blend those layouts into your blogor website design.

Bidvertiser will pay its publisher either via check or Paypal after reaching a $10 payout limit. They pay you each month. They also have a really nice referral system, you´ll make money from referring new advertisers AND new publishers to the Bidvertiser service as long as they spend money for advertising or generate it as a publisher.

So far I´ve generated no money with Bidvertiser, which doesn´t mean that it won´t work! It´s more the fact that I only have a small number of daily visitors and only a small percentage will even click on one of those ads . But I think after some time when my blog gets at least a bit more popular (and it really does, it only takes very long :) , I´ll get some money from Bidvertiser.

There will be yet another article that deals about monetizing your blog in one of my next posts, so keep coming back!

Bye bye!

Monetize Your Blog – Fair Ads Network

Today I want to talk about Fair Ads Network, a new contextual advertising program you can use to monetize your blog, make it more popular or even both!

Fair Ads Network, from now on I´ll just call it FAN (not only because I´m a fan too;), is a fairly new company trying to compete with big ad publisher programs like Google Adsense or the Yahoo Publishing Network. It was founded by Kevin Lam and Konstantin Boyandin, two guys with big online marketing experience and an iron will to reach their personal goals (I really like that).

Basically FAN is just like all the other publishing networks, you can use it to advertise your blog or to publish ads on your blog to make some money online. But there are some big differences to all the big advertising companies. First thing (the probably best in my opinion) is that you won´t get banned from their program, even if you click on your own ads. I won´t encourage anybody clicking their own ads, but from time to time it may happen that you accidentally click them. In this case you can feel lucky, because your click got tracked by FAN, they actually see who clicked the ad, if it was you, you won´t get paid (and you won´t get banned!).

Another big advantage is that the whole systems will “learn” the behavior of your blog or website visitors. This will help you as a publisher, because the system shows only those advertisings that fit best with your content and what your readers are looking for. It will also help advertisers, because they can feel save that their ad campaigns run only on those sites that actually have similar content and readers likely to click on those ads.

FAN is still in beta development now, but this doesn´t mean it isn´t working yet. I´ve integrated a single ad block in my blog and I can say that it works. I haven´t received too much money (only some cents), but as I said, I´ve only one ad block integrated so far. But you´ll be able to embed many more ad blocks in the future, ranging from text ads, link ads, banners and even rich media like videos. So far the team is still working on new features and optimizing the whole system.

You can also create different tracking channels (300 at the moment) for all your ad blocks, so you can see what performs good and where to make some modifications to the ad blocks size or color combinations. A really nice feature if you want to get the best revenues!

In general, FAN pays you 60% of what advertisers choose to pay for a single click. So if an advertisers chooses to pay $1.00 per click, you´ll get $0.60 (it´s only an example, you can earn even more if advertisers pay higher fees). You´ll receive your payments after reaching a $50 payout limit (they want to lower it to $25 if all works good) via Paypal, business check, e-Gold, e-Bullion or wire transfer. You can even use your balance to start your own ad campaign.

All in all, Fair Ads Network sounds like a really good program to monetize your blog (or website). I think the guys behind it take it really serious to make the best out of it, they really want to compete with the big names in this branch! I´ll keep you updated whenever new forms of advertising or new features are available. So far I can only recommend you to check it out, build your own opinion about FAN and gave it a try.

With best regards,
Querblogger
