First Month Report!

The first month of my Making Money Experiment is over now and so far I´m very happy because I earned more than I imagined. I will now show you some statistic like my earnings or blog visitor counts for October.

A lot of work was involved in building this blog and in trying to find all those money making opportunities that are actually worth to put my efforts in. At the moment I have 14 “income” streams which, put together, brought me 18 Dollars for the month October. That´s around $1.30 more than I would need each month to reach my goal in earning exactly $100.

Before I will show you my earnings statistic I will point out that those earnings are only theoretical so far, because I didn´t got paid yet and I can´t say for sure if I will get paid from every site I´ve joined. So I hope the best to reach the payout limits and see my Paypal inbox fill within the next month. For all who can´t wait any longer, here´s the October earnings statistic:

Triond: $0.94
myLot: $0.33
Adbux: $7.53
Wordlinx: $1.08
Bux: $1.48
Adcash: $0.47
Linkgrand: $0.63
Legitbux: $0.54
Clixsense: $0.97
Subvert and Profit: $2.50
Hits4Pay: $0.12
Advercash: $0.64
Titanclicks: $0.57
Adsense: $0.20

You see, my top earnings come from Adbux because they recently introduced their new offers system. Also Subvert and Profit is doing very well, especially because they are back since only some weeks now. The best PTC sites for this month were Bux.to, Wordlinx and Clixsense.

I hope I can increase those earnings with more referrals, at the moment I only have 5 spread over different programs which are nearly inactive (I think they miss nice money making opportunities…). In the hope of getting more of those referrals I joined Getref this month, but I was cheated twice (people claimed my credits, but didn´t join my programs). I won´t give up using Getref, but for the moment it hasn´t brought me anything.

I´ve done some advertising too. I joined a nice traffic exchange program, where I advertise my splash page which promotes the new paying social network Yuwie.

My blog got indexed by Google, Yahoo and MSN. I was very happy to see that I now have a Pagerank of 0 (yes, it´s zero – don´t laugh, before it was unranked!). My Alexa rating is somewhat below 2,000,000 (before it was over 3.5 million). Lately I placed a full news feed on my blog, which is powered by Feedburner. You can subscribe to it in the top right corner of my blog or do it here!

The traffic for my blog wasn´t that big, but I´m happy with it. I got 127 unique visitors with 204 pageviews from all around the world, especially from the USA, Canada and Israel. I hope my traffic rate will rise within the next month. Therefore I´ve joined a new traffic exchange program called Linkreferral, which brought me around 50 pageviews in the last 2 days.

All in all, I had a nice time so far, but it sometimes was really hard. Especially clicking all those ads has driven me nearly crazy sometimes, but I will stick with my goals. Next month I will keep an eye on my blog design and usefullness, write new in-depth articles to help my readers and try to find new money making opportunities waiting for me out there in the world wide web.

So far, all I can say is: Thank you my fellow readers!

Have some nice days!

DealDotCom – One Deal Per Day!

Today I found a very interesting website called DealDotCom. Basically it´s a site where you can buy online marketing products. The best part is that they only show deals, meaning they will have the lowest price for each product they show on their frontpage. Everyday they offer one product that lasts there for exactly 24 hours.

DealDotCom seems to be no scam site, even John Cow has tested this site and got paid from them. Got paid you ask? Yes, the probably best part of this great website is its affiliate program. For each person you refer, you´ll get 35% sales commision and(!) 15% commissions from every second level affiliate you have in your downline. They will pay you via Paypal.

So if you want to buy great online marketing products like software or ebooks, please visit DealDotCom, you won´t find a better price on the web! If you´re an expert in getting referrals it´s a must that you take a look at this new money making opportunity.

Short Update – Adbux Offers, Wordlinx Paid Mails, Subvert and Profit Tasks

I have a short update just before the first month of my making money experiment ends. Nothing really big, but worth to mention.

Adbux Offers

As I´ve written in my last article, Adbux now comes with offers for which you´ll get paid. Today I´ve completed my second offer which brought me $3.06 just for joining another website. Together with my last offer, which brought me $2.70, I now have earned $5.76 for doing nothing really special, only for registering on two websites. I now have to wait until next month, then these earnings will go into my Adbux balance. I you haven´t already, you can join Adbux here.

Wordlinx Paid Mails

Yesterday I got an email from Wordlinx with some infos about their new paid mail service. They told me that from now on everybody who receives their newsletter will automatically receive paid mails, which will bring up to $0.05 each. Notice, that you have to check the option for receiving such mails in your account settings. From now on one can get paid even more. Wordlinx is actually one of the best paying PTC´s in my personal list, so I´m happy to hear that news.

Subvert and Profit Tasks

This month I got 4 tasks from Subvert and Profit, which will bring me $2.00 to my balance. It´s really nice, especially because they are back again since only around two weeks now.

My first month with this blog will be over in 2 days, then I´ll present you my October earnings, some blog statistics like visitors or subscribers and some of my future goals. For now all I can say is, that I´m very surprised how far I got the last days. Be sure to check back on October 31st to see my results!

Until Wednesday,

Update: Adbux has now around 150 offers from which you can choose from, it seems they are adding new ones every day!

Adbux – Now with Offers!

The guys from Adbux have done it again! Beside clicking on ads, you now can make money for completing offers, a lot more than just some (micro)cents.

As I checked my Adbux account yesterday, I was very surprised to see this silently introduced new feature (no, actually they mentioned it some weeks ago, but I didn´t realise that). You are now able to choose between regular paid ads and offers, with the help of a new drop-down menu at the top navigation bar.

The Adbux team claims to have about 80 offers in 239 countries worldwide, so it likely that you´ll receive one of them. The amount of offers will definitely grow with time and it seems that there will be a huge income potential compared to just clicking some ads.

How does it work?

It´s easy. All you have to do is clicking the link provided with each offer and completing the registration or taking a survey (follow the instructions next to the offer link). After that you must click the submit button. Then it´ll take up to 3 days for getting approved (mine took only some hours). The money you´ve earned will go into your balance after 32 days, because Adbux has to wait for advertiser payments, which usually come in one month after completing an offer. For example, if you take an offer at October 1st, the advertiser payments will come in at November 1st. October has 31 days, plus the first November day, will add up to 32 days (easy, isn´t it? ;-)

How much can I make?

I took one offer so far, which brought me $ 2.70 just for completing a registration form for a survey institute (be sure to use a seperate email adress to avoid spam mails in your inbox).

The official anouncement states, that one can get up to $10.00 per free offer, sometimes even more. You get paid more for offers, where you have to purchase something or pay for a membership, but personally I wouldn´t take those, because no one can say for sure if all advertisers will actually pay Adbux and so pay you.

The best thing about the new offers system is the wonderful referral program. Guess what you´ll get for each of your completed referral offer? You won´t believe me, it´s 50% as a regular user and even 100% as a premium member! Not bad. You can even benefit from this if you live in a country that didn´t get any offers so far. If you have referrals from around the world, it´s very likely that you still receive commissions from your downline.

From now on it will be much easier to reach the $10.00 minimum payout at Adbux. Hopefully this will help me to achieve my goals for earning $100 within 6 month.

I suggest everybody reading this to join Adbux, it´s worth it (and yes, this is a referral link ;-)

Salut!

Traffic Exchange – A Useful Way For Promoting Your Programs?

As promised in my last post, here I´ll give you a short overview about Traffic Exchanges and promoting your programs with it. First I´ve to say that I´m not (yet) an expert within this field of online advertising, but I´ll do my best to give you some useful informations.

It seems that most people have a somewhat sceptical attitude towards Traffic Exchanges. As I first have heard about it, I also noticed phrases like “this is a pyramid scheme” or terms like “Autosurf” or “Ponzi scheme”. As I´m sceptical too, I thought “Just give it a try and find out by yourself”. So I joined my first Traffic Exchange site some days ago to test if it works or not.

So far it doesn´t work for me, but I must admit that I was busy last days and don´t had the time to fully concentrate on it. What I can say so far is, that it brought me around 200 pageviews for my splash page (at the moment I´m promoting Yuwie), but unfortunately I got no signups.

Pageviews vs. Credits

But I know the fact why it didn´t worked so far. The first problem is the number of views. With only 200 views you won´t have much luck within a Traffic Exchange, simply because of the fact, that everybody who views one of your pages is actually doing this because of generating their own credits. Most people won´t take a deep look into the content of the site you promote. So you must have at least some thousand credits you can turn into views to generate enough “buzz” for your own sites (big advertisers say, in order to promote a product effectively, a single person must view an advertising at least 7 times to even remember it!). But notice, for generating some thousand page views, you also must gain the same amount of credits and you won´t get these with a ratio of 1:1, but most times with something like 2:1 or 3:1, meaning you have to watch 2 or 3 sites to get one credit for your own traffic exchange. Btw, it took my around one hour to get my 200 credits.

Be creative!

So what can you do, to get more “quality” pageviews, meaning that people are looking at your content and even sign up? My first thoughts went to TV advertising and I got it really fast, be creative! Earlier I mentioned using a splash page to promote your content, and that´s your way for being creative (so my splash is as creative as dry bread in a bread-bin so far…)! I think, but I don´t exactly can say for sure, that a nice designed splash page with good graphics and text can be a key in effectively promoting your programs and helps you to stand out of the crowd. I have some nice plans for a new splash page design and I will tell you more about it within my next posts.

Conclusion

So far Traffic Exchanges didn´t help me alot in my efforts for promoting my programs, therefore I´ll experiment with Traffic Exchanges for the next days (or weeks). Maybe I test some banner advertising or text links. I will also do some advertising on Paid-to-Click sites, where I can place targeted advertising, which hopefully will work better. As I said at the beginning, I´m no expert so far and I´ve to gain more experience.

If you have some tips, you´re very welcome to write some comments to help me and my readers to understand Traffic Exchanges better and make the most out of it.

See you at my next post,

New Article on Triond – Cheaters on Getref

New Article on Triond

I have just published a new article on Triond.com, it deals about eight uncommon ways for using Google. You can also look at the widget in the right sidebar, which shows you all (only 5) of my published articles so far. Triond is a nice way to make some dollars per month, especially if you write good content (hopefully better then mine ;-)

Cheaters on Getref

Some days ago, I invested some credits (that I´ve earned for joining some PTC programs) in promoting my own program that makes me a great portion of earnings per month (Clixsense). Today I got my first referral via Getref, but the user didn´t even join under me. He only claims for the credits I invested. The big problem so far is, that I can either decline this transaction, resulting in a negative user rating for me or I credit him while loosing my “hard” earned credits. I have 3 days left to either accept or decline this referral, hopefully he will join within this time.

I won´t say that Getref is actually a bad thing, but if you got cheated it makes you feel bad ;-(
But I´ll look forward in getting more referrals from there and I hope there are some Non-cheaters willing to join under me. It all needs some amount of experimenting (hence my blog´s name).

Next time I will show you the world of traffic exchanges and doing some advertising with it.

Earn Money With Sponsored Posts

If you already have a Blog, you can make a really nice income from it. So today I will talk about making some money from writing Reviews and Sponsored Posts. I will present you 3 sites that will help you find opportunities. But first let me tell you what my personal goals regarding paid posts are.

My Future Goals

I know that clicking paid ads or reading paid mails isn´t a task one can fulfill on an everyday basis for the long term, it´s getting boring and it isn´t worth the effort if you want to earn some real money. But I won´t say it´s actually bad, you get a nice start in the money making branch and you can invest some money you´ve earned in promoting your blog for example. It won´t be much, but it gives you a feel of having something accomplished.

My personal goal with Paid-to-Click programs and that kind, is actually promoting my blog with some kind of advertising. I will needs this, because I want my Blog to become (hopefully a bit) more popular. So I´ll try my best to earn enough to make that happen.

You may ask what this all has to do with Sponsored Post? The simple answer is, that you won´t be able to get paid for Reviews or Sponsored Posts if you have a Blog that´s unpopular. I will tell you about the minimum requirements in a moment.

So you see that everything needs a lot of time to evolve (my Blog is so young, I´ll have to wait some time to start sponsored blogging). But I must admit, I like it anyway. It keeps me working hard on achieving my goals.

Sponsored Blogging

For all of you, who actually have a (somewhat more) popular Blog than I have, here are 3 nice programs that will pay you for writing Sponsored Posts:

1. Blogitive

Blogitive pays you a standard of $5 per post you publish on your Blog (this may vary depending on sponsors). Other programs may pay you much more, but with Blogitive you have no limit in the number of Sponsored Posts and Reviews. So you can make some bucks if you keep on writing. Your Blog must be at least 3 month old and indexed in Google and Yahoo. You should have an average of 3 posts per week. A nice thing about Blogitive is the weekly(!) payment via Paypal, very nice for fast money.

2. PayPerPost

PayPerPost is more widely know than all the other programs. And as I´ve observed, they pay you more than just $5 per post, it all depends on the opportunities you´ll accept. And this is the point, you can accept an opportunity that you like and that fits on your Blog´s theme. After accepting it, you have 6 hours to complete your Sponsored Post. Some people make more than $500 per month, so if you like writing, simply check this out. The requirements for being accepted as a Blogger are nearly the same as with Blogitive. Your Blog must be 3 month old, you should have 20 pre-existing posts to this date and an archive page (which most Blogs have). You are allowed to post a maximum of 3 posts per day (which must be labeled with “sponsored” or something like this) and you must have one regular post before and after the sponsored one. PayPerPost pays after 30 days directly to your Paypal account.

3. ReviewMe

ReviewMe is another great site that let you start making money from blogging. There you´ll get offers for reviewing different sites. You can make between $20 and $200 per single post you publish on your Blog. The requirements for being accepted there should be the same, they only say you´ll need a minimum amount of traffic, citations and subscribers to your news-feed. The posting frequency (the number of paid posts you´re allowed to add to your Blog) will be calculated from your blogger rating, including Technorati and Alexa rankings. You get paid on a monthly basis via Paypal.

I hope this article will be helpful for you, especially if you already have your own Blog. Feel free to post some comments, because I need some insight from bloggers that have already published Sponsored Posts and got paid from one of the programs.

I wish you a nice weekend!

Subvert and Profit is Back Again

Subvert and Profit seems to be working normal know. There were some troubles past weeks, mainly because they changed their webhost and, tragically, one of their founders died by an accident. My heartfelt sympathy!

Today my Stumble Upon account got verified by S&P (before only my Digg account was verified) and I just received my first story to digg. The story was actually hidden within 4 articles, so I had to digg them all. This has to be done because otherwise you may get banned from Digg or SU because of gaming their TOS. Long story short, I received my $0.50 within an hour (yes, they pay you half a dollar per digg/stumble!). Im looking forward on how frequent those stories will come into my inbox, hopefully there will be some, because you can really make good (and easy) money with Subvert and Profit.

You even have the possibility to refer other people, you´ll get 20% of their earnings and 10% if you refer an advertiser. It´s not bad in my opinion, but it heavily relies on how much diggs or stumbles you´ll get into your account.

PS: Subvert and Profit has a really fast and helpful support. If you have some questions, that don´t get answered in their FAQ, simply send an email. I got my response within an hour.

Cheerio!

Triond Payments Received

I just want to tell you that I´ve received my september earnings from my published articles on Triond. They said they´ll pay on October 15th, and they paid on October 15th! Real nice in my opinion, although its not that much, only $4.95 ;-) I´m currently working on an new article that deals about Google, I hope I can publish it in a few days. In the meantime you can check out my other articles, you´ll find the links in the Triond widget on the ride side of this blog. If you want to know what Triond is, read my article I´ve posted some weeks ago.

Next time I´ll write about some other nice ways to turn your written text in money, so stay tuned.

So long!

Why I have so many Referral Links…

You may have noticed that nearly every blog post I´ve written so far contains at least one referral link. Sure, you may call me a spammer for doing that kind of promoting the different Paid-to-Click or Money-for-Writing sites, but let me tell you what I am thinking about this.

This whole blog is all about making money online, at least $100 within the next 6 month ;-) But, one big difference to many other money making blogs is, that I´ll do my best to actually give you the most valuable informations regarding earning some bucks online. I won´t lie to you, e.g. in saying what a great PTC site I´ve joined, if this site turns out to be a real big scam or it isn´t even worth to mention. Other people want to refer people to such scams, while telling you how wonderful their programs are. You know such pyramid schemes, where they tell you how to earn thousands of dollars per day? Don´t even dream about it, you won´t become rich overnight by only joining a single program or by buying one of those “great” ebooks that will tell you about making money! You definitely have to work real hard for your goals.

So, this is why I place so many referral links. I´ve actually tested those programs and when I feel they are worth it, I´ll place a link (but please don´t beat me if one site turns out to be a scam, even if I said it was OK. The internet goes fast, sites come and go and so there may be scams). I place those links in the hope, that one of you will join under me. So both sides will win, you, because you´ve joined a program that actually works and I, because I´ll get some cents (and not thousands and thousands of dollars…). You know, this blog is about making money, so even some cents will help me to reach my personal goal.

I also won´t lie to you by hiding my referral links. You might have seen those hidden links on some sites (have you ever seen something hidden ;-) ). The most common way for hiding referral links, is by using Javascript or web services like Tinyurl.com, which will camouflage your hyperlinks. I won´t do this simply because if I want to refer people, I actually refer them and don´t wait for my users clicking a link, where they don´t know exactly where it points them to.

Feel free to tell me your opinions!

Have a wonderful day!
